SAW New Roster Confirmed With MUTiRiS Leading Portuguese Five From BC.Game, FlyQuest, NIP
SAW have confirmed the signing of a new all-Portuguese Counter-Strike 2 roster built around the core that reached the semi-finals of IEM Cologne 2024, reuniting Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes, João “story” Vieira, and Michel “ewjerkz” Pinto under the organisation once more. The move, announced on 4 July 2026, brings back the quartet that gradually left SAW across 2024 and 2025 as MUTiRiS and Adones “krazy” Nobre went to BC.Game, story joined FlyQuest, and ewjerkz was picked up by Ninjas in Pyjamas.
The signing reunites players who had scattered across the international scene after SAW sold their core to BC.Game at the start of 2026. SAW are betting that bringing them home revives the form that carried the organisation through its strongest years.
SAW’s New Counter-Strike 2 Roster In Full
SAW have signed MUTiRiS and krazy from BC.Game, story from FlyQuest, and ewjerkz from Ninjas in Pyjamas. The lineup is rounded out by Filipe “NOPEEj” Dias, who had been with Rebels since September 2025 and has been a fixture of the Portuguese scene for close to a decade. NOPEEj finished second at the 2024 IESF World Championship with Rhyno alongside krazy.

MUTiRiS Returns To His Home Of Five Years
MUTiRiS returns to SAW, the organisation he represented between 2020 and 2025. krazy also comes back after a previous stint, having spent six months with SAW before BC.Game acquired the core at the start of 2026 and secured international event invites in the process. ewjerkz rejoins after seven months on the sidelines, following his benching by Ninjas in Pyjamas in December.
Head coach mowzassa stays on with the roster, having previously worked with MUTiRiS from October 2025 to January 2026.

SAW Youngsters Move To The Academy
The lineup SAW had fielded since selling their core to BC.Game will remain with the organisation under the name SAW Youngsters, moved down to the academy where the org will continue to support their development. Assistant coach Tiago “SYDOX” Fonseca transitions to the main roster alongside mowzassa.
A Debut From Zero VRS Points
The new roster starts with zero VRS points, as it lacks three players carried over from any single previous squad, meaning the team must fight through the open circuit to claim a rank. SAW’s new five make their first appearance on Sunday in the West European Open Qualifier for BLAST Open Fall. The following month, the team travel to Paris to compete in the Esports World Cup 2026 Open Qualifier.
