Californian singer-songwriter Meg DeLacy’s music is rich and sensually smooth.
Weaving glittering pop rhythms with smooth R&B melodies, the young singer songwriter follows her lustful single “Body” with “Love Me Like That” – a celebration of romantic relationships.
Detailing the euphoria of finding love and valued, amorous exchanges “Love Me Like That” is filled with intoxicating synths and sugary pop tempos. “It plays with the idea of testing someone’s patience in a playful way”, Megan explains. “This song is right in between flirting with the idea of getting into a relationship and being finally committed.”
The Los Angeles native draws inspiration from the likes of Jhene Aiko, Amy Winehouse and Corinne Bailey Rae to create her rich soundscapes. Having gained notoriety as an actress, she made her musical debut back in 2018 with her first single “Bruises” – an intoxicating electro-pop song highlighting Meg’s vocal prowess.
