adidas and Brawl Stars have launched a multi-phase collaboration spanning an in-game tournament, a junior apparel and footwear line, and a live fan experience in New York. Announced on 18 June 2026, the partnership marks Brawl Stars’ first-ever skin collaboration with an apparel brand, pairing the Supercell mobile game with adidas across digital play and the real world. It opens with the adidas Starr Cup, a two-week in-game event running from 18 June through 2 July.
The adidas Starr Cup Splits The Community Into Two Teams
The Starr Cup turns Starr Park into a football battleground built around Super Ball, a hypercharged evolution of the Brawl Ball mode. For the first football Community Event, the entire player base is split into two halves that compete to reach a single Grand Final. Teams are voted on by players, who pick their team name and logo before the rosters are assembled and locked for the tournament on 20 June.

The tournament stage runs as six matchups on the road to the Grand Final, with each matchup lasting two days. Players fill their team’s progress bar by winning Super Ball matches, and a special adidas Half-Time Challenge based on the Super Ball and Brawl Ball modes is revealed on the second day of every matchup. Completing those challenges as a team upgrades the rewards. The event ends with a final showdown between the two Community teams, and the winning side earns the exclusive “adidas Champion” title. The final match is played with the TRIONDA, the official match ball for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Super Ball’s New Gameplay Twists
Super Ball layers several new mechanics over the standard Brawl Ball formula, alongside the event’s exclusive adidas skins. The full set of additions is below.
- Keeper Bots – A defensive bot patrols the goal and blocks incoming shots. Get too close and it will intercept.
- Charged Shot – Hold to charge a powerful shot that breaks through obstacles and damages enemies, but you are vulnerable while charging, so avoid getting tackled.
- Timed Passes – Pass chains build power. Adding a Super or Hyper at the right moment maximises the damage, rewarding teamwork with more firepower.
- Exclusive adidas Skins – Playing Super Ball unlocks exclusive adidas skins for your Brawlers, the first time Brawl Stars has run a skin collaboration with an apparel brand.
Throughout the event, members of adiClub, adidas’ global loyalty programme, can redeem exclusive in-game rewards including pins, icons, and sprays through the adidas app.
Starr Cup Rewards And Giveaway
The Starr Cup reward track centres on a new Brawler, Jae-yong, and the Gridiron Otis skin, alongside Ultra Trophy Boxes, Mega Trophy Boxes, Chaos Drops, Power Points, Coins, PPXP, XP, and XP Doublers. On top of the track, a giveaway hands 1 million Coins and 1 million Power Points to 10 lucky players. Entry runs by sharing a best Super Ball goal every day on Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, or X using the #adidas and #BrawlStars hashtags.
Ranked Season 4 Starts Alongside The Event
Brawl Stars Ranked Season 4 began on 18 June, the same day the Starr Cup kicked off. Heist is the featured Game Mode for the season, and the monthly maxed-out Brawlers are Griff, Kenji, and Jae-yong.
Starr Drop Unlocked Apparel And Footwear Line
adidas Originals and Brawl Stars will release Starr Drop Unlocked, a junior apparel and footwear collection, in select adidas stores and online on 1 August. The line reimagines four of the game’s characters, Spike, Leon, Edgar, and Nita, blending streetwear with the game’s playful chaos, and embeds subtle Brawl Stars easter eggs in its graphic prints. A second collection is planned for 2027.
The apparel side includes tees, hoodies, Adibreak track pants, and track jackets, each designed around the attitude of its character inspiration. On the footwear side, the Samba and the Superstar carry the Brawl Stars characters through unique textures, bold colours, and lace charms added for personality and collectability.
adidas Home of Soccer Pop-Up In Brooklyn
The collaboration moves into the real world at adidas’ Home of Soccer fan event on 20 and 21 June. Fans can visit Brooklyn Bridge Park, where the Brawl Stars pop-up takes over the official adidas pitch directly below the Brooklyn Bridge. The pop-up runs on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 10pm.
The activation invites fans into an immersive Brawl Stars experience on the pitch, with event merchandise, exclusive giveaways, and an interactive gameplay zone where they can take a penalty kick against the Robo Keeper. Brawl Stars is available on the App Store and Google Play, with the Supercell Store carrying offers on in-game items. The Starr Cup tournament itself runs through 2 July.
