Multi-platinum selling DJ/producer Timmy Trumpet and Jersey-born Kastra have come together to produce an infectious new effort, Wassup featuring the vocals of the legendary Chuck Roberts (My House). The brass enthused track showcases a dynamic and inspired approach from two prolific producers in the industry and is a return to Timmy Trumpet’s roots in house music.

“House music is what introduced me to the electronic music scene in the very beginning,” says Timmy. “Wassup is an ode to those roots; a trip down memory lane when I was just a trumpeter playing alongside DJs in Ibiza way back when. Fun, sun and nothing but good vibes!” 

Timmy Trumpet is the acclaimed Australian jazz musician turned dance music extraordinaire. Always respectfully nodding to his classical roots, Timmy is a live instrumentalist with multiple Club Chart and Beatport number ones, not to mention over half a billion streams for his massive hit Freaks, featuring Savage. Timmy has gone from attending Sydney’s famed Conservatorium of Music as a teenager, to breaking into the electronic scene in Ibiza, to filling main stage events around the world like Creamfields, Tomorrowland and EDC, plus his very own ‘Freak Show’ arena tour of the UK and Europe with a constant run of exhilarating anthems. Timmy’s creative song writing skills have led to tracks The Buzz, Psy or Die, Punjabi and Party till We Die among others.

Joining Timmy for the first time, Kastra is a proud Jersey-born DJ and producer, who threw himself into a community deep rooted in musical history. With over 10 million accumulated plays on Soundcloud, Spotify and YouTube, Kastra has also seen huge support from masters in the field: Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Avicii, David Guetta and The Chainsmokers among others. Huge collaborations have included work with Fatman Scoop, DJ BL3ND, as well as huge success with original works such as So Good and About Us.
