Square Enix has just released new screens for the next upcoming chapter of Final Fantasy which showcases the visual fidelity that fans have come to expect from the FINAL FANTASY series.
The PlayStation 3 screenshots from FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn also show for the first time the easy-to-use PlayStation 3 UI (user interface), which makes full use of the intuitive button configuration of PlayStation 3 controllers.
The UI will be fully customisable, allowing players to set up a button configuration perfect for their personal playing style; and has been designed with the traditional FINAL FANTASY game controls in mind to give the game a classic RPG feel, familiar to any PlayStation 3 RPG gamers.
To accompany these new PlayStation 3 screenshots, new artwork is also available, featuring some of the Primals, who will have a big part to play in the story of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn; as well as a few of the armour sets available for the Chocobo mounts available in the game.
FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn is the latest installment in the FINAL FANTASY series, and will release for PlayStation 3 and PC platforms in 2013.
