American singer, songwriter and producer; Maggie Rogers, has announced a very special showcase via a personal video she recorded on her phone while on her Heard It In A Past Life tour.

The fan showcase will take place at New Zealand’s most iconic location, Piha Beach, famous for its black iron-sand and wild surf.

Maggie is heading down to New Zealand for the first time for her SOLD OUT concert on Saturday June 1st, 2019 at Auckland’s Powerstation. Fans who missed out on tickets now have the opportunity to win a double pass to the private Piha showcase thanks to Spark & Spotify by filling out the entry form on the Spark Music website.

Only 40 fans will attend the private showcase where they will be treated to a live performance from Maggie, where she’ll play songs from her debut album Heard It In A Past Life while beachfront at the famous West Coast beach.

After her education at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she released her breakout single “Alaska” and subsequent critically acclaimed debut EP, Now That The Light Is Fading. “Alaska” has since charted in Spotify’s Viral 50 in 40 countries, hit #1 in 23 countries and now has over 100 million global combined streams to date. Rogers has been chosen as the first YouTube Artist On The Rise (AOTR) of 2019. The program features eight artists of varied genres over the course of a year. 2018, the inaugural year of AOTR, featured such artists as Rosalía, Brockhampton, Ella Mai, and many more. Rogers has also been named a Twitter Music #ArtistToFollow. The new program highlights one emerging artist per month by using their Twitter Music profile to showcase their voice and personality.
