Despite having finally met and getting together with her “Mr. Right”, otherwise know as Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). Bridget Jones (Renee Zellweger) somehow manages to be all by herself all over again at the start of the third movie in the series of Bridget Jones with Bridget Jones Baby.

After being single for sometime, her friend whisks her away for a crazy weekend at a festival only to find herself meeting the very charming Jack (Patrick Dempsey) as her drunk and disorderly self and spends the night with him.

While a week later bumps into her recently separated ex and also spends the night with him. See where we are heading with this now…

Bridget gets herself into the biggest kerfuffle in her life when “surprise!” she finds out she is pregnant and doesn’t know exactly who the father is, well she is at least 50/50.

Who do you hope the baby’s daddy is?

While the answer to that question won’t be too hard to figure out, it is none the less hilarious watching two grown men with completely different personality’s battle it out as they vie for the attention of Bridget.

While Bridget seems a lot more put together in this third film but still her clumsy, imperfectly perfect self. It is a nice way to end the series (assuming this is the last one, who knows) and found while I really liked the first two, I found this one the most entertaining and kept you engaged and wanting more the whole way through.

Bridget Jones Baby literally had me in tears, it’s such a feel good film that takes all the bad things in life and puts a light hearted spin on it, making you realise no matter how bad life may seem to get, at least you’re not Bridget Jones! No, but it really does show you can always get through it and come out better off on the other side.

Most definitely the perfect film to watch with the girls, just be prepared to be in fits of laughter!
