DreamHack Atlanta is gearing up to host one of the biggest fighting game events of the year. SNK has confirmed the 2025 SNK World Championship (SWC), set to run from October 31 to November 2 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, offering a combined $4.1 million prize pool across four iconic FGC titles.

The championship will feature Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves (CotW), The King of Fighters (KOF) XV, Samurai Shodown, and Art of Fighting 3 (AOF3). Players will battle it out for top honours, with Fatal Fury leading the pack with a staggering $2.5 million prize pool, $1.5 million of which will go to the champion. KOF XV follows with a $1 million pool, rewarding the winner $500,000. Samurai Shodown’s 16-player bracket, including four Last Chance Qualifier entrants, offers $500,000 in prizes, while the open AOF3 tournament—hosting 256 players—distributes $100,000 among its top performers.

ESL FACEIT Group will manage the tournament, ensuring a professional stage for the FGC’s best. A Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) will kick off the first day of action for all titles except AOF3, which remains fully open to competitors. Fatal Fury: CotW and KOF XV tournaments start with 32 players each, narrowing to six for the grand finals, while Samurai Shodown crowns three finalists from its 16-player roster.

The SNK World Championship won’t be the only headline-grabbing competition at DreamHack Atlanta. The event will also host the Clash of Clans World Championship and the Clash Royale League World Finals. Other notable tournaments include DreamHack Knockout CS2, which offers a route to the ESL Pro League S23, and the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier, featuring the top 64 EA FC players worldwide.

For fighting game fans and esports enthusiasts alike, DreamHack Atlanta promises three days of intense competition, high stakes, and thrilling moments.
