The auction spanned trading cards, sealed video games, comic books, vintage toys, and entertainment memorabilia, with six-figure results landing across multiple categories and several lots setting public-sale records.
The 102-card Base Set that topped the sale featured holo Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur. Alongside it, sealed Nintendo and PC games, vintage Marvel comics, and rare gaming cartridges drew the standout bids detailed below, with results announced on 19 June 2026.
The Top Pokemon Cards From the Sale
Pokemon led the auction at every price tier. Behind the $178,120 Base Set, a 2002 Pokemon Legendary Collection Reverse Holo #3 Charizard graded PSA GEM MT 10 sold for $122,000, and a 2003 Pokemon Skyridge Holo #146 Crystal Charizard, also PSA GEM MT 10, reached $109,800. A 2000 Pokemon Japanese Promo Champion Road Mega Battle No. 1 Trainer in PSA GEM MT 10 sold for $103,700.
Sealed Pokemon product performed alongside the singles. A 1996 Pokemon Japanese Base Set Factory-Sealed Booster Box of 60 packs sold for $118,340, and a 1997 Pokemon Japanese Rocket Gang Factory-Sealed Booster Box, also 60 packs, reached $83,320. A 2002 Pokemon Expedition Holo #9 Dragonite in PSA GEM MT 10 sold for $55,244, the highest public sale recorded for that card.

Sealed Video Games Set Public Records
The sealed-game category produced several of the auction’s record results. A 1989 Game Boy Super Mario Land sealed copy graded PSA 9.8/A+ sold for $85,400, the highest public sale recorded for the game. A 1990 NES The Legend of Zelda Test Cartridge in yellow, graded PSA 8.5, reached $42,700, also a record public sale, and a 1985 NES Tennis sealed copy graded WATA 9.6/A+ sold for $29,890, another high for the title.
PC games featured as well. A 1998 Half-Life sealed copy graded VGA NM+ 85+ sold for $13,725, the highest public sale ever for the game, and a 1993 IBM PC Doom sealed copy graded VGA 9.0/80+ sold for $6,710.
Marvel Comics, Toys, and Memorabilia
Beyond gaming, the sale carried landmark comic results. An X-Men #1 from 1963 signed by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, graded CGC/JSA 5.5, sold for $23,699, a record public sale for an X-Men #1 in that grade signed by Stan Lee. A 1962 Amazing Fantasy #15 graded CGC 6.0, the origin and first appearance of Spider-Man, sold for $74,887, and a 1963 Amazing Spider-Man #2 graded CGC 9.0, the first appearance of the Vulture, reached $31,732.
Other categories rounded out the top lots. A 2024 Topps Chrome Marvel Mask Off SuperFractor #MO-5 Steve Rogers in PSA GEM MT 10 sold for $91,500, a 1987 Hasbro G.I. Joe Series 6 Defiant Space Shuttle graded AFA EX+/NM 75 reached $26,229, an Invincible #1 from 2003 signed by Robert Kirkman, Corey Walker, and Bill Crabtree in CGC 9.6 sold for $7,320, and a December 2007 Playboy with Kim Kardashian’s first cover, graded CGC 9.8, sold for $5,185.
Goldin’s Ongoing Auctions
Goldin was founded in 2012 by Ken Goldin, now an eBay company, and has surpassed $1 billion in total sales. Several of its auctions remain open after the Spring Pop Culture sale: the June Vintage Auction runs through 20 June, the 2026 YouTubers Exclusive Auction through 24 June, the Spring Goldin 100 auction through 28 June, the USA 250th Anniversary Historical Auction through 8 July, and the June Elite Auction through 11 July. The Global Football Auction Part Two is scheduled to open on 26 June.
