Fortnite is no stranger to big name partnerships, but its latest move might be one of its most exciting yet. Epic Games has announced a full Formula 1 collaboration, bringing all ten F1 teams into the game with a fresh set of themed cosmetics. The crossover arrives just in time for the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix, and it’s shaping up to be a massive moment for both gaming and motorsport fans.

Epic Games confirmed that the F1 Cosmetic Team Set will go live on 20 November at 7 PM ET, lining up perfectly with the launch of Chapter 7 Season 1.

Players will be able to jump into the Item Shop and purchase a huge range of Formula 1 themed cosmetics, including:

  • Branded Outfits for all 10 F1 teams
  • Team inspired Gliders and Pickaxes
  • Formula 1 Back Bling
  • A new F1 themed Emote to show off after a Victory Royale

Each Outfit is designed to reflect the current team branding from across the 2025 grid, giving Fortnite fans a sleek and sporty way to represent their favourite team.

Fortnite itself shared a teaser on social media with the line, “It’s lights out and away we go!” which instantly set the motorsport community buzzing ahead of the drop.

Formula 1’s Chief Commercial Officer, Emily Prazer, described the crossover as a major part of F1’s ongoing push to connect with new audiences.

“This innovative collaboration with Fortnite is yet another way Formula 1 is connecting with fans and appearing in places you wouldn’t expect it to,” Prazer said. “We’re obsessed with finding new and exciting ways to engage with our audiences that makes our sport sit alongside their other passions and interests.”

Prazer also highlighted how Fortnite has worked with some of the biggest brands and celebrities in the world. Thanks to this partnership, F1 fans will now have a place in Fortnite’s massive universe every single day of the year.
