Twitch has announced Bloxfest, a month-long Roblox-focused takeover running from February 5 to February 27, bringing daily activations, exclusive viewer rewards, and a $300,000 prize pool for participating streamers. The event culminates in a two-day Twitch Rivals Bloxfest Grand Finale on February 26 and 27.
The campaign is designed to pull viewers and creators deeper into the Roblox ecosystem, with in-game items, chat cosmetics, and front-page exposure on Twitch across desktop and mobile.
What Is Bloxfest And When It Runs
Bloxfest runs for just over three weeks, from February 5 to February 27, with daily Roblox streams featured prominently on Twitch. Throughout the month, Twitch will highlight Roblox content in a dedicated front-page collection and carousel, increasing visibility for creators streaming in the category.
According to Twitch, the event is aimed at both long-time Roblox players and newer viewers, with rewards structured to encourage repeat watch time rather than a single drop-in stream.
Viewer Rewards And How To Earn Them
Viewers watching Roblox streams during Bloxfest can earn multiple limited-time rewards by staying active on Twitch while the event is live.
Twitch and Roblox developers have collaborated on exclusive in-game items that can only be unlocked during Bloxfest. These rewards are earned by watching eligible Roblox streams when Drops are active, with availability announced gradually throughout the month.
Subscribers receive additional perks during the event. Anyone who subscribes to a Roblox-streaming channel will unlock an exclusive Twitch chat badge, while extra viewership-based badges will be available on select days. Twitch has confirmed that collecting all badges requires tuning in across multiple dates.
Twitch has also introduced a new global chat emote, RobloxCheer, which can be used platform-wide to react to plays and moments during live streams.
Once earned, rewards are delivered as codes to the user’s Twitch notification inbox, located in the top-right navigation bar. Codes may take up to 24 hours to appear and will remain in the inbox until the message is deleted. Redeeming the code unlocks the in-game item in Roblox.
Watching streams does not require linking a Roblox account in advance, though a Roblox account is needed when redeeming in-game reward codes. Reward timings and eligibility windows will be shared through Twitch’s official Instagram, TikTok, and X accounts.
These viewer rewards are not region-locked, meaning anyone in a country where Twitch and Roblox are available can take part.
How Streamers Can Join And Compete
For creators, Bloxfest doubles as a competitive pathway into Twitch Rivals.
From February 5 to February 23, eligible streamers are encouraged to stream Roblox daily and complete special challenges to earn points. These points accumulate on a public leaderboard, allowing participants to track their standing throughout the qualification period.
To take part, streamers must apply and be accepted through Twitch’s registration system. Applications are processed within roughly one week, and Twitch recommends applying by February 2.
Once accepted, points can be earned between 12:00 AM PT on February 5 and 11:59 PM PT on February 23, with in-game badges also awarded for completing challenges during the event.
Even streamers who do not reach the finale still benefit from the campaign, as Roblox streams during Bloxfest receive increased platform exposure and front-page promotion.
Bloxfest Grand Finale And Prize Pool Breakdown
The top-performing creators will advance to the Bloxfest Grand Finale, held live on Twitch on February 26 and February 27, from 1 PM to 5 PM PT each day.
Qualifiers are split by region:
- Top 32 Roblox streamers from North America
- Top 16 Roblox streamers from Spanish-speaking Latin America
- Top 16 Roblox streamers from Brazil
Finalists will be drafted into teams led by eight high-profile Roblox creators:
NicoBlox, IBella, iBugou, ElAbrahaham, robinhoodgamer, CherryAhrizona, KreekCraft, and Lanaraee.
The finale represents the final stage of the $300,000 prize pool, making it one of the largest Roblox-focused competitive events hosted on Twitch to date.
Eligibility Rules And Regional Restrictions For Streamers
While viewer rewards are global, streamer eligibility is more limited. The Bloxfest competition and Twitch Rivals finale are open only to Partner or Affiliate streamers who are based in the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, or Brazil.
All applicants must be 18 or older and residents of North or South America. Streamers who qualify for the finale must also agree to stream exclusively on Twitch during the scheduled competition windows.
Newer creators who are not yet Partners or Affiliates are still encouraged to apply, as Twitch has stated that some applicants may still be deemed eligible during the review process.
Why Bloxfest Matters For Roblox Creators
Bloxfest arrives at a time when Roblox remains one of the most watched and played platforms globally, with creator payouts passing the $1 billion mark in 2025. By tying rewards, exposure, and competitive incentives into a single month-long event, Twitch is positioning Bloxfest as both a celebration of Roblox culture and a low-friction entry point for creators looking to grow their audience.
For viewers, it offers an easy way to earn exclusive items just by watching. For streamers, it provides a clear roadmap from daily streaming to a high-profile Twitch Rivals finale, without requiring a separate tournament signup later on.
