Ahi has today revealed the trailer and Aotearoa NZ release date for, Bad Behaviour.

Directed, written and starring Alice Englert (You Won’t Be Alone), alongside ACADEMY AWARD Winner Jennifer Connelly (Top Gun: Maverick), Ben Whishaw (Skyfall, Passages) and Dasha Nekrasova (The Scary of Sixty-First), the blackly comic is set to arrive in cinemas on November 2, 2023.

First premiering at Sundance, Bad Behaviour follows Lucy (Connelly), a former child actor, as she seeks enlightenment at a retreat led by spiritual leader Elon (Whishaw) while she navigates her close yet turbulent relationship with her stunt-performer daughter, Dylan (Englert).

Off-grid at the ranch at the foot of Mount Hypnos, Lucy hopes she’ll find the peace, sympathy and validation she’s paid good money for. Unfortunately for her, so do all the other egocentric attendees. The film also stars Kiwis Ana Scotney, Beulah Koale, Marlon Williams and Tom Sainsbury.

Bad Behaviour was produced by Desray Armstrong (Coming Home in the Dark, Juniper) and Molly Hallam (The Mustang). The film was made with funding from the New Zealand Film Commission, the New Zealand Government’s Screen Production Grant, Fulcrum Media Finance and Bee-Hive Productions, with additional support from the New Zealand Government’s Screen Production Recovery Fund, Ahi and Images & Sound.
