Vanessa Williams, award-winning star of stage, screen, and music, releases exclusive new remixes of her smash hit single, “Legs (Keep Dancing)”.

The track, her first pop recording in 15 years, recently debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Digital Sales chart and has surpassed a million digital streams in a matter of weeks. The seven-track collection, Legs (Keep Dancing): The Remixes EP, features a variety of edits by the 808 BEACH duo of New York City-based club DJ Bill Coleman and his London-based collaborator John “J-C” Carr who have jointly remixed or produced blazing tracks on a who’s who in club music such as Lizzo, Sia, and Adam Lambert.

The 808 BEACH Mix is a percussive, peak hour, circuit-etched, hands-in-the-air club mix which spotlights the song’s anthemic elements and Williams’ affirmative lyrics. The inspired 808 BEACH Hustlin’ Mix complements the song with a decidedly modern nod to the revered sound and groove of ’90’s House Music with a slight European bent and groove. “We had an absolute blast tackling the empowering tune and Vanessa’s powerful performance with our refresh for DJs,” says Bill Coleman of the mixes. “Both of our 808 BEACH versions are tailor-made for this summer’s dancefloors, kikis, and celebrations. “Legs (Keep Dancing)” was co-written by Disney songwriter / producer Chantry Johnson, newcomer songwriter Kjersti Long, and veteran songwriter/producer Kipper Jones, who co-penned Williams’ early classics, “The Comfort Zone” and “The Right Stuff.” The mixes are available in MSQ Stereo and Dolby Atmos Immersive Audio. Aside from the digital streaming configurations, the remixes will be available on limited edition 12-inch vinyl later this summer.

GRAMMY-nominated international superstar and LGBTQ+ trailblazer Adam Lambert, the first openly gay artist to have an album reach No. 1 on the Billboard album chart in the US and Canada, signals his electrifying and unapologetic next musical chapter with today’s release of his “Whataya Want From Me ’24 (WhiteShadow’s HEMix).”

GRAMMY Award-winning, RIAA platinum-certified international icon Tiësto has shared his own one-of-a-kind spin on ‘Renaissance’ the title theme from Season 2 of HBO’s Emmy winning series, The White Lotus, available now at all DSPs and streaming services.

Written by Chilean-Canadian composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer, “Renaissance” is the first official remix of the viral hit, with Tiësto’s version already taking over dance floors worldwide. The official remix is joined by an official visualizer premiering today at YouTube.

Fast-rising UK talent Tita Lau has remixed the Meduza, James Carter, Elley Duhé and Fastboy hit single ‘Bad Memories’.

Following on from a remix by Swiss electronic don Andrea Oliva, the Tita Lau rework of ‘Bad Memories’ is a club-ready creation that is characterised by a hypnotic bassline and scintillating drop.

A certified smash, the original has racked up 40 million Spotify streams and sits at #83 in the OCC Singles chart, #37 in Apple Music UK, #78 in Shazam UK and #24 in Shazam Global. The ‘Blackest Blue’ UK tour, a celebration of 25 years of Morcheeba, will see the band headlining Birmingham’s O2 Academy on Wednesday 4th May 2022, Manchester’s Academy on Thursday 5th May 2022, London O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Saturday 7th, May 9th 2022 and Brighton’s Chalk on Wednesday 11th May 2022. In March 2020, Skye Edwards and Ross Godfrey were nearing the end of another long tour – they can go two years without visiting the same country twice – and the diary suddenly emptied. Tourbus parked, they began writing what became their tenth album Blackest Blue. By December 2020, they’d finished 10 lustrous new songs touching on disintegrating familial and romantic relationships, love and kinship, the world around and the consolations of cannabis. On tour, Morcheeba is Skye (vocals), Ross (guitar), Dom Pipkin (keys), Skye’s husband Steve Gordon (bass) and Skye’s eldest son Jaega Mckenna-Gordon (drums). In the studio it’s mostly just Skye and Ross – he plays guitar, bass, organ, synths, drums and percussion. “There weren’t so many pressures so we could really take our time getting the songs right,” says Edwards. “Morcheeba albums are only finished when I’ve gone completely insane,” Ross humorously adds.

The result of this time is a refined collection that fuses previous incarnations and sound of the band – such as downbeat, chill, electro-pop & soul – into one cohesive record that delves into the soul of the band’s genre-mashing musical heritage. As usual, the band didn’t approach the album with any pre-conceptions, and instead created an organic journey that represents everything great about Morcheeba.

Edwards’ lyrics are primarily focused on positivity and overcoming personal adversity that lies within. ‘Sounds Of Blue’, is a stunning cut that puts Skye Edward’s sultry vocals to the forefront, floating high above an ethereal backdrop. The duo let go, writing and playing what they felt like.

Speaking about lead single ‘Sounds of Blue’, “I had a poem I’d written about my free diving experience in Thailand,” Skye says. “Oh Oh Yeah” is a song about getting stoned. Back in the day we didn’t think about the A&R guy, the single, the ‘we need to hear the chorus in 30 seconds’. You’d have seven, eight-minute songs. So we went for it.”

Morcheeba’s global reach is impressive, taking them to every corner of the world . Their signature chilled electronic / organic sound has been border-hopping ever since the London-based band emerged as a household name. The past year has been one of introspection for the duo, as they took stock of their renewed global fan base by playing UK and European festivals over the summer ahead of their own headline tour in 2022.
