Team Spirit’s Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk wasted no time making headlines at The International 2025, opening his campaign with a Rampage that left fans and opponents stunned.
In Spirit’s very first series of the tournament, Yatoro locked in Shadow Fiend for their opener against Wildcard. While his teammates had already set the pace and built a commanding lead, the Ukrainian carry saved his fireworks for the final clash. As Wildcard desperately tried to mount a last-ditch push, Yatoro cut them down one by one, securing all five kills and completing a Rampage that forced the North American squad to immediately surrender.
What makes the moment even crazier is that Yatoro only had three kills up until that point, with two deaths and five assists to his name. Then, with one explosive teamfight, he turned a quiet performance into one of the most talked-about highlights of the tournament.
Team Spirit Show No Mercy
The Rampage wasn’t the only statement Spirit made. After the fireworks in Game One, the reigning two-time Aegis champions absolutely dismantled Wildcard in the rematch, ending it in just 22 minutes with a brutal 23–1 scoreline. The stomp showed why Spirit are once again considered one of the favourites to claim The International title.

Fans and analysts quickly rallied behind Yatoro and his squad after the Rampage clip went viral. For many, the highlight was proof that Spirit’s star carry is locked in and ready to hunt for a third Aegis of Champions.
The International 2025 Has Only Just Begun
Held in Germany from September 4–14, this year’s The International 2025 features the world’s best battling for a prize pool starting at $2.3 million. With heavyweights like Team Spirit in prime form from the very start, the road to the Aegis is already heating up.
For Yatoro, this Rampage wasn’t just a flashy moment, it was a message. If Spirit are going to make another run at the Aegis, their carry is more than ready to lead the charge.
