Virtus.pro have claimed the championship title at the Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 2 EMEA, securing their spot at the upcoming Grand Finals and taking home the biggest share of the $250,000 (~£186,000) prize pool.
After several weeks of intense matchups, the CIS powerhouse proved their dominance by defeating Citadel Gaming (CTG) 4–2 in a thrilling Grand Final, closing out their redemption arc after missing qualification earlier this year.
Both teams left everything on the stage.

From Group Leaders to Grand Final Glory
Virtus.pro started strong in the Group Stage, finishing with a 4–1 record that placed them at the top of their group. Their momentum carried into the Playoffs, where they crushed OG Seed 3–0 and edged out Chopped 3–2 in a close series.
Their only stumble came in the Upper Bracket Final, where they fell 2–3 to EMEA Stage 1 champions Citadel Gaming. Facing elimination, Virtus.pro regrouped and took down Natus Vincere 3–1 in the Lower Bracket Final, earning a shot at revenge.

Other Regional Champions Decided
EMEA isn’t the only region wrapping up its Ignite Stage 2 battles.
In Asia, Crazy Raccoon claimed the championship and will advance to the Grand Finals alongside REJECT, while Gen.G Esports narrowly missed out in third place.
Oceania saw a surprise upset, with underdogs ChopperMag sweeping Vulcan Red 4–0 to secure their regional title, while Ground Zero Gaming, last season’s Mid Season Finals winners, failed to qualify.
Meanwhile in China, OUG took first place ahead of Aconyx, with both teams qualifying for the DreamHack LAN event.
That leaves Americas, where teams like ENVY, Sentinels, and 100 Thieves are currently battling through the Playoffs. The regional finals wrap up on October 12th, finalising the lineup for the international Grand Finals in Atlanta.
With Virtus.pro leading the EMEA charge, the Marvel Rivals Ignite series is shaping up for an explosive global showdown later this month.
