4thrives Esports have won the 2026 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) Season 1, becoming the first Pakistani team to claim a Champion title at a global PUBG Mobile esports tournament and taking the largest share of the $500,000 prize pool. The Grand Finals wrapped up on 7 June 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia, where the squad finished on 122 points to lock in the championship.

The tournament also entered the record books, breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest mobile team-based esports tournament in history after 1,224,169 players registered to compete from the Road to PMGO onwards.

4thrives Esports’ Road To The PMGO Championship

The 2026 PMGO S1 opened with a Group Stage of 32 teams split into two groups of 16. The top six from each group claimed the first 12 Grand Finals slots, with the remaining four decided through a Survival Stage. 4thrives Esports finished 10th in Group A during the Group Stage, leaving them to fight through the Survival Stage to stay alive.

They did exactly that, knocking out 12 teams alongside Team Flash, GOAT Team and 721 Esports to reach the main stage. The Grand Finals opened with FURIA Esports taking the first Winner Winner Chicken Dinner in match one, and the title came down to the final game, where Falak from 4thrives Esports eliminated Team Pandum to seal the 122-point finish and the championship.

The headline figure behind the win was the turnout. A total of 1,224,169 players registered for the 2026 PMGO S1, earning PUBG Mobile Esports the Guinness World Record for the largest mobile team-based esports tournament in history. The event was held as a pro-am, putting amateur and veteran teams in the same brackets.

The viewership followed suit. The broadcast drew more than 1.07 million peak viewers, and across the 25 hours aired the average sat at around 323,000.

PMGO S1 Carnival And Watch Parties Across Indonesia

Beyond the brackets, the 2026 PMGO S1 Carnival gave attendees in Jakarta a run of activities. Pan to Pan let fans decorate a cooking pan modelled on the game’s iconic melee weapon and exchange it for rewards, including a 24K real gold pan, while Indonesian franchise TAHILALATS appeared at the venue with merch giveaways and exclusive in-game skins through a special collaboration.

Over 45 performers showcased traditional Indonesian instruments and dances, and Indonesian idol group JKT48 performed at the Grand Finals.
