Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás has committed his long-term future to MOUZ, signing a new multi-year contract extension with the German esports organisation. The announcement comes just two months before the Hungarian AWPer is set to play in front of his home crowd at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025.

The deal makes torzsi the final piece of MOUZ’s core to lock in fresh terms this year. Earlier in the season, teammates Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo and Dorian “xertioN” Berman had already agreed to new contracts, securing the foundation of the roster for the years ahead.

For torzsi, the timing couldn’t be more significant. With MOUZ on track to earn a direct invitation to Stage 3 of the Major, the 22-year-old will be carrying the team’s sniper role into one of the biggest moments of his career, and doing so in front of a home audience.

From Academy Prospect to Star Player

torzsi’s journey with MOUZ began in the academy squad, MOUZ NXT, which has gained a reputation as one of the best talent pipelines in Counter-Strike. Over the years, he has grown from a promising rookie into a world-class AWPer, establishing himself as one of the team’s defining figures.

“Adam is the perfect example of what we strive to achieve at MOUZ. He joined us as a talented player in MOUZ NXT and, over the years, has developed into a world-class competitor,” said Jan Dominicus, MOUZ’s Chief Business Development Officer.

Dominicus also praised torzsi’s impact beyond the server, calling him a role model for upcoming talent and one of the faces of the organisation.

Building Around a Leader

MOUZ’s decision to extend torzsi’s contract signals their intent to continue building around him as a central figure in the roster. His importance to the squad is not just tied to his performance with the AWP, but also his role as a leader and the symbolic face of the project.

The team’s current line-up consists of:

  • Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás
  • Dorian “xertioN” Berman
  • Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo
  • Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin
  • Lotan “Spinx” Giladi
  • Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen (coach)

With the Budapest Major fast approaching, all eyes will be on MOUZ and torzsi as they look to make their mark on the biggest stage, in front of a home crowd that will no doubt be ready to get behind their local hero.
