The race to the StarLadder Budapest Major has officially wrapped up, and the full list of 32 teams headed to Hungary is finally confirmed. After weeks of high-stakes regional action and last-minute LAN battles, the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) deadline has passed, locking in which squads will compete for Counter-Strike’s biggest prize later this year.
It’s been a hectic lead-up to the October 6 invitation date. With teams scrambling to grab every last VRS point available, several lineups made desperate pushes across continents to secure their places. Among the most notable late qualifiers are PARIVISION, who narrowly beat BetBoom at Majestic LanDaLan in Moscow; RED Canids and Fluxo, who made deep runs at Circuit X South America Season 1 in Curitiba, Brazil; and Fnatic, who flew to the U.S. and triumphed at Fragadelphia Blocktober over 9INE.
That win not only earned Fnatic a trophy but also enough points to book their Major ticket, a comeback moment for the British organisation after a turbulent season. (You can read more about their Fragadelphia victory in our full story here).
A New Era of Major Debuts
This year’s Major will also see several teams making their first-ever appearance on Counter-Strike’s grandest stage, and that means new CS2 Major stickers are on the way for some fresh names. PARIVISION (Russia), RED Canids (Brazil), and The Huns (Mongolia) are all set to feature in their debut Major, giving fans the chance to collect and support these underdog lineups through in-game items once sticker capsules drop.
Based on the Predicted VRS, here are the teams going to play their first ever Major in @CounterStrike 🏆

The Major will take place over three stages: Stage 1 begins on November 24, followed by Stage 2 on November 29, and Stage 3 starting December 4. Teams now have nearly two months to prepare for what promises to be one of the most competitive CS2 Majors to date, and for fans, that means plenty of hype, new stickers, and storylines to follow as Budapest takes centre stage.
