A Year Packed With Major Releases

PlayStation fans can now revisit their biggest gaming moments, as Sony has launched the official PlayStation 2025 Wrap Up. The annual recap highlights each player’s personal stats from a massive year that delivered hits like Ghost of Yōtei, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Blue Prince, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Whether you spent the year chasing trophies, exploring strange new worlds, or testing out the latest hardware, the Wrap Up pulls all of that into a personalised summary that is easy to share with friends online.

What’s Inside Your 2025 Wrap Up

The Wrap Up experience is available from today through January 8, 2026, and gives PS4 and PS5 players a detailed look at their year. Once logged in, you’ll see breakdowns of your most played games, preferred genres, total hours across single-player and multiplayer titles, and your 2025 trophy milestones.

Players can also check stats tied to accessories. The recap shows how often you used PlayStation VR2, PlayStation Portal, and which DualSense wireless controller design you picked up the most. There is even a personalised PlayStation Plus playlist and a quick look at your activity across the subscription’s Extra and Premium catalogues.

Like other yearly digital recaps, the Wrap Up generates clean, shareable cards designed for social media, giving players an easy way to show off those long sessions in Death Stranding 2 or their 100 percent completion runs in Clair Obscur.

Earn a Glass Themed Avatar

Sony is once again offering a reward for players who complete the Wrap Up tour. Finishing the experience unlocks a unique, glass themed avatar that can be redeemed directly through the website. Players can also download a summary card highlighting their top stats for the year.

The recap automatically updates until the end of December, so checking back before January 8 ensures your final 2025 stats are included.

Requirements and Regional Notes

To take part, players must be adults with a registered PlayStation account and at least 10 hours of gameplay on PS4 or PS5 between January 1 and December 31, 2025.

Sony notes that users who did not consent to Full Data collection on PS5 or Additional Data collection on PS4 during 2025 will not be able to access the Wrap Up. This applies to players across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australasia, India, and Russia.

Looking Back and Ahead

PlayStation Wrap Up has become a familiar tradition since its debut in 2017, joining the wider trend of shareable year end summaries made popular by services like Spotify Wrapped.

This year reflects the strong momentum of PlayStation’s 2025 lineup, with titles like Ball x Pit, Elden Ring Nightreign, and Battlefield 6 also taking up hours for players across the globe. And with major releases such as Resident Evil Requiem, Yakuza Kiwami 3, and 007: First Light set for 2026, next year’s Wrap Up already looks promising.
