One of the most anticipated and biggest Overwatch 2 events of the year is the OWCS 2025 Midseason Championship, which begins on July 31 and runs through August 3. Sixteen top-tier teams from around the world will gather in Riyadh to battle for glory and a whopping share of $1,000,000 prize money.

Event Format 

Teams are divided into four groups of four for the group stage, which takes place from July 31 to August 1. One team will win the Midseason trophy in the single-elimination playoffs (August 2-3), which will be attended by the top two teams in each group.

Who’s Competing?

Sixteen elite teams from across the globe have earned their spots:

Asia: Crazy Raccoon, T1, All Gamers Global, VARREL, The Gatos Guapos, Team Falcons

North America: Geekay Esports, Team Liquid, NTMR

EMEA: Al Qadsiah, Twisted Minds, Virtus.pro

China: Weibo Gaming, Team CC, ROC Esports, plus one LCQ winner.

These include powerhouse squads and dark horses alike, making for intense international competition.
