Falcons Esports have officially announced their entry into the academy scene with the unveiling of Falcons Force, a brand-new Counter-Strike 2 lineup aimed at developing fresh talent for the future.

The project is being led by Danish veteran Niels Christian “NaToSaphiX” Sillassen, who has stepped in as head coach. NaToSaphiX, best known for his years as a pro player with the likes of Heroic, Sprout and Complexity, most recently coached NIP Impact before moving to Falcons. Alongside him, Neoskai takes on the role of team manager.

The Falcons Force Lineup

The roster has been put together following an open application process that included scouting tournaments and a final evaluation phase. While many of the names are new to the wider CS2 audience, a couple of players already have competitive experience.

  • Benjamin “Olaie” Olaie (Denmark) – In-game leader
  • Vladimir “VENO” Stankovic (Serbia) – Rifler, previously appeared in the European Pro League with Volt
  • Andrei “grecu” Grecu (Romania) – AWPer, formerly of INFINITE and most recently seen competing in DraculaN Season 1
  • Oskar “clockzi” Blaesbjerg (Denmark) – Rifler
  • NucleonZ (North Macedonia) – Rifler

Community reactions have been mixed. Some fans welcomed the move, seeing it as an opportunity for new players to gain structure, salaries, and international exposure. Others were sceptical about how much of a pipeline actually exists between academy squads and top-tier rosters, especially given Falcons’ financial power to buy established stars rather than promote from within.

Building for the Future

For Falcons, who have already made waves at the highest level of Counter-Strike, the academy project represents an investment in grassroots development. With NaToSaphiX at the helm, the organisation hopes to shape raw talent into players capable of competing on the biggest stages.

Whether Falcons Force will become a genuine stepping stone to the main roster or simply a proving ground for young hopefuls remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: these five players are about to get the biggest opportunity of their careers.
