Xbox has just revealed a partnership with AMD for their processing power for the already in the works next-gen Xbox consoles (and handheld!).

What is also revealed is that players may have more than one eStore option for their games (we are hoping Steam is included), which will enable gamers to load and play game libraries from other vendors.

If this is the case, this is a hugely exciting future, making Xbox the one stop gaming platform. This also essentially siloes the likes of PlayStation (excluding their PC ports) and Nintendo.
