OPPO has unveiled its new flagship smartwatch with a host of industry leading updates: the Watch X.

In the latest addition to its wearable tech line, the leading global smart device brand has incorporated extra-long battery life, as well as ultra-fast charging and its most advanced fitness tracking yet.

OPPO’s Find N3 foldable comes super spec’d and ticks pretty much every box you’d want in a phone / tablet hybrid.

A killer camera array, a large enough front display when folded so that it is actually usable, and a larger tablet display when unfolded, with a UI that makes it simple to window apps on the 7.8 inch 120Hz AMOLED flexible screen.

I’m not going to do a run down of the specs again, we covered that off in our phone review here.

So what does all that inner goodness really mean when it comes to some quality mobile game time on the OPPO Find N3?

I was keen to find out.

Whether you like to shoot, loot, pillage, race or battle there’s enough console quality titles available on the Google Play store.

From retro to present day, we put the OPPO N3 through its paces and see how it handles.

If you’re the same as me, older games still hold a special place, and Android is the platform to replay them via emulators, or remasters.

Sure these take no processing power whatsoever, and being a foldable, you can play like an Arcade, half folded with your touch screen controls on the lower screen.

Still worthy of a play these 90s classics are going to keep you reminiscing and gaming for literally hours.

Time for some heavier stuff.

The OPPO Find N3 has a generous 16GB RAM coupled with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Whatever you have running on this, there’s enough specs to go around.

Diablo Immortal is one of my go-to’s.

Graphically stunning and gameplay immersive, I can spend a few hours with Immortal, usually until the battery warning pops up.

With other smartphones I have used and tested for gaming, I’ll generally get around 5 or 6 hours of play time before I need to charge up.

The OPPO Find N3 was longer. A lot longer. While the play time was broken up, in total on a full charge I was able to get a total of 11 hours.

The OPPO Find N3 has a 4805mAh battery, and with the ColorOS’ gaming function, the way the the N3 distributes and uses power is definitely paying off.

Call of Duty Mobile is usually super greedy on smartdevices. From a full charge and a 5 hour play, continuous, I still had around 70% charge.

The likes of Immortal and Call of Duty Mobile really do benefit from that larger screen – as does a personal fav of mine – Pascale’s Wager, a full length RPG title specific to mobile.

On any game played, the OPPO N# did not skip a beat. No lag, no graphical glitches, just smooth, vivid and fluid, with impressive audio from the smartphone’s speakers.

If you’re a racer, you’ll be sorted too. Wreckfest and Asphalt gave blistering high octane action and vehicle carnage on screen as fast and fluid as the games were able to render the graphics.

And if you’re an Xbox gamer, get your remote play on real easy.

Having the larger screen that you can fold to fit in to your pocket and game on the go is perfect, providing the device itself has enough guts to be able handle the gaming goodness you throw at it. The OPPO Find N3 most definitely can.

Battery life wise, the OPPO Find N3 outlived the mobile gaming dedicated ASUS ROG 7 Pro phone that I have.

Currently OPPO has outdone themselves with the OPPO Find N3.

OPPO today announced the launch of its latest Reno series smartphones — the OPPO Reno10 Pro 5G and the OPPO Reno10 5G.

Inheriting the iconic thin and lightweight design of the Reno series, the two new Reno10 series devices feature a more comfortable grip and premium visual experience with a 3D curved design that measures as little as 7.89mm in thickness and weighs just 185g .

Equipped with SUPERVOOCTM flash charge and OPPO’s exclusive Battery Health Engine and SUPERVOOC S power management chip , the Reno10 Pro and the Reno10 provide faster charging with longer-lasting battery life. Together with a powerful SoC, large storage, an upgraded Ultra-conductive Cooling System, and the latest ColorOS 13.1, the Reno10 Pro and the Reno10 deliver strong and reliable performance alongside an all-round smooth experience guaranteed for up to four years.

On the back cover of both phones, an advanced splicing technique has been used to create a two-tone design around the camera area using glass and metal materials. The top half of this area houses the Main Camera, while the lower half contains the Telephoto Portrait Camera and the 112° Ultra Wide-angle Camera. The Main Camera is decorated with a finely textured material engraved with a laser beam-like texture that manipulates light and shadow in a way that symbolises the powerful camera capabilities that lie beneath.

On the front of the phone, a 120Hz 3D Curved Screen boasting an industry-leading 93% screen to body ratio takes centre place. With its 2.32mm ultra-thin lower bezel and 1.57mm bezels on the left and the right, the practically edge-to-edge screen guarantees a more immersive and boundless visual experience at all times. Laying the foundation for this is an upgraded Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System with a new camera combo on the Reno10 series. The Reno10 Pro features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a flagship 50MP IMX890 Main Camera, a 32MP IMX709 Telephoto Portrait Camera, and a 112° 8MP Ultra Wide-angle Camera. On the front of the device is a 32MP Selfie Camera fitted with an additional IMX709 sensor. The Reno10 meanwhile features a large 64MP 1/2-inch sensor on its Main Camera for great image clarity, and also a 32MP IMX709 Telephoto Portrait Camera for enhanced portrait experience. With this camera system on both models, the Reno10 series empowers users to easily capture ultra-clear photos with enhanced details in any kind of situation.

Among these three cameras, the powerful 32MP Telephoto Portrait Camera supports a completely different shooting experience that opens the door to stunning portraits on smartphone. With its 2X optical zoom, the camera can be used to take high-resolution photos at a professional 47mm portrait focal length, capturing natural and undistorted portraits with stunning realism. A BG spin-coating process has also been used on the lens to create an infrared light-absorbing film that reduces veiling glare and boosts image purity. What’s more, the camera’s IMX709 RGBW sensor is capable of gathering more light, enabling users to shoot bright and sharp portrait images even in dark environments.

If the user is taking a picture of a friend in a crowd or against a complex background, the telephoto camera can be used to ‘pull’ the subject out and make them stand out as the clear focus of the image. By framing the shot with this professional portrait focal lengths of the telephoto camera, users can also visually compress the space and enlarge the landscape in the distance, helping to draw attention to both the subject and the background.

For general photo and video shooting, Reno10 Pro’s 50MP Main Camera features a flagship-level Sony IMX890 flagship sensor. This large 1/1.56-inch sensor features 4-in-1, 2.0μm-sized pixels and a large f/1.8 aperture, ensuring greater light intake in different shooting environments. With OIS and All Pixel Omni-Direction PDAF, the camera offers improved stability and corrects minor shakes.

Drawing on this extremely powerful camera set-up, a new Portrait Expert Engine has been introduced to the Reno10 Pro and the Reno10.

This engine optimises the entire portrait shooting process in key areas such as subject recognition and segmentation, skin tone preservation, and image clarity using OPPO’s AI super resolution algorithms and other advanced image processing techniques. With these optimisations, the Portrait Expert Engine helps users to capture truly faithful and flawless portraits with just a few simple clicks in the updated Portrait Mode. With Portrait Mode, users now have access to a new 2X focal length brought by the Telephoto Portrait Camera, alongside the option to change the aperture setting from any value between f1.4 and f16. With 80W SUPERVOOCTM Flash Charge, the Reno10 Pro can be charged to 100% in around 28 minutes , and for the first time, OPPO’s proprietary power management chip – SUPERVOOC S – has been added to the Reno series. SUPERVOOC S combines six functions, including charging, discharging, decoding, reset, battery protection, and circuit-breaker into one single chip, helping to reduce the amount of space taken by fast charging components within the phone by up to 45% and pushing battery discharge efficiency up to 99.5%. With the additional support from OPPO’s exclusive Battery Health Engine, the effective battery lifespan of both the Reno10 Pro and the Reno10 can be extended to as many as 1,600 charge and discharge cycles .

Providing core performance on the Reno10 Pro and the Reno10 are the Snapdragon® 778G platform and MediaTek Dimensity 7050 mobile platform respectively. Both SoCs deliver super-powerful computing performance and a faster experience, all with reduced power consumption. Together with the upgraded Ultra-Conductive Cooling System, users can enjoy heavy-load applications without sacrificing comfort or performance.

On top of this, OPPO’s system-level optimization — the Dynamic Computing Engine — has been implemented on both devices, achieving the most thorough reconstruction of the Android memory management system to date.
