<p>This week I was honoured to be a guest of JBL at their 5.1 Soundbar Launch.</p>
<p>At the historical Golden Age Cinema in the Sydney CBD, media were treated to an evening with Mad Max and audio supreme-ness.</p>
<p>After light refreshments, all attendees were ushered in to the medium sized theater and after a presentation and being informed that the only audio that we were about to experience was to be coming from the JBL 5.1 Soundbar system.</p>
<div id="attachment_30321" style="width: 1290px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-30321" class="wp-image-30321 size-full" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_165939.jpg?x59294" alt="" width="1280" height="960" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_165939.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_165939-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_165939-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_165939-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_165939-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_165939-750x563.jpg 750w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /><p id="caption-attachment-30321" class="wp-caption-text">Golden Age Cinema &#8211; Sydney, Australia (photo taken with Samsung Galaxy S9)</p></div>
<p><em>Mad Max: Fury Road</em> lit up the big screen as our ear drums vibrated to the rumbling bass of the action and our senses went into overdrive as the sounds of the action swirled around us.</p>
<p>At the end of the film, one of the media asked a JBL representative if they could assure us that the cinema audio we just heard was solely from their 5.1 Soundbar.</p>
<p>It was. JBL had bypassed the theater&#8217;s internal audio and all movie audio was being fed directly in to the Soundbar&#8217;s receiver.</p>
<p>So here we had been introduced to the all-new JBL BAR series.</p>
<div id="attachment_30322" style="width: 1290px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-30322" class="size-full wp-image-30322" src="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_170132.jpg?x59294" alt="" width="1280" height="960" srcset="https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_170132.jpg 1280w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_170132-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_170132-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_170132-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_170132-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.shanethegamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/20180514_170132-750x563.jpg 750w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /><p id="caption-attachment-30322" class="wp-caption-text">Golden Age Cinema &#8211; Sydney, Australia (photo taken with Samsung Galaxy S9)</p></div>
