We are very much in the market of remasters.

Recently The Last of Us Part 2 released, the epic RPG Oblivion, and here we have a rework of Days Gone, a game that released six years back on PlayStation 4.

Playing out like a Hollywood blockbuster, or a TV series that you never want to miss an episode of, Days Gone places you in the role of Deacon, a biker, member of the ‘Mongrels’, who himself has had a very checkered and colourful path leading up to the outbreak that wiped out humans, turning them in to what is known as ‘Freakers’. An insanely feral zombie like humanoid that will do anything to get to living flesh.

Your play starts out after all of the drama and chaos ensued when the outbreak occurred. Before you is an open world in the back roads of Pacific North West America. Yourself, as Deacon and his best friend Boozer are embarking on many a deadly road trip as mercenaries for hire, taking bounty’s and slowly making their way North.

Of course, nothing really goes to plan. Asides from hordes of ‘Freakers’, Deacon must look out for other humans aswell. A ravaged nation gives birth to sects, groups, small and large camps, survivors ruthlessly doing what they must to continue their existence. Some friendly, some definitely not.

The back story opens up throughout play, and you eventually find out that maybe, just maybe there’s more to the outbreak that spread across the Globe. You also learn more about Deacon. The good, the bad and his lost love.

Resources are scarce, including medical supplies, ammunition and fuel.

Deacon traverses the ‘Freaker’ infected countryside and towns on his bike. The relationship between man and machine is paramount in this game.

You must also continually look for fuel (syphon from abandoned vehicles, steal from camps or find fuel cans by exploring environments), and keep up maintenance on your bike.

Almost like a character of its own, Deacon’s bike can be a needy beast. It will wear down with use and depending on your driving skills, or lack off, and may need more or less maintenance as you forge ahead.

The storyline will update to your play style – and while there is a main story, there is so much to be done on the side.

Days Gone is a game that adheres to how you play and will work the main story in with your in-game activities.

Whatsmore, unlike previous zombie titles, in Days Gone, it’s not only the human population that was afflicted.

Hiding in the wilderness does not mean that you are safe. Infected bears and dogs are also hungry for non-infected humans.

Then there’s the hordes. This is where the chaotic energy of this game comes in as literally hundreds upon hundreds of ‘Freakers’ surge towards you. Each individually animated – pushing eachother, tripping over eachother… in Days Gone, it is okay to run away if you can.

Asides from the rabid dogs and bears there are differing levels to ‘Freakers’ aswell. The most unique are Newts, which appear to be infected children. There’s also a sect known as Rippers. Somewhat transformed, most definitely insane from the apocalyptic-like events that took place.

Days Gone is not a run and gun title. A lot of stealth and strategy will come in to play. More often than not, you will either have no ammo, or be extremely limited – down to your last bullet. Making use of cover, stealth and your environment will get you through. Maybe.

The infected are tuned to listen out for noise. One sound at any given time, could attract a giant horde. Your one bullet that you have in your chamber is not going to go far.

You need to be super resourceful where you can. It’s almost as if the devs at Bend Studio give you just enough, but no more.

Scout around, explore. It’s a large landscape and a lot of goodies to be found. Scrap which can be used for trade or to craft items. Bike parts as and when you need them. Med kits are a necessary. ‘Freaker’ and Newt ears are taken as trophy’s, these too can be used for trade with other NPC’s and in friendly camps.

Days Gone has a very robust RPG element. Your skill points, earned throughout gameplay with varying objectives achieved or completed are used for Deacon upgrades; health, stamina and more. Your bike can and will also take on necessary upgrades aswell.

Crafting weapons and enhancements is super rewarding and will of course give you more of an advantage in-game.

Days Gone shouldn’t be coined as ‘just another zombie’ game. It is a fully engaging story mixed with compelling and challenging survivalist gameplay. It’s original release, and now this remaster I feel is easily overshadowed by the likes of The Last of Us, another zombie-esque game, but Days Gone is unique enough to be in its own class.

This new redo features new modes of play, Horde Assault, Permadeath and Speedrun.

If you never picked up the PlayStation 4 version, now’s the best time to join the biker gang and fight for survival.

The wait is finally over – and boy, was it worth it.

Days Gone from Sony’s Bend Studios has just released hordes of ‘Freakers’ on to our PS4.

Your play starts out after all of the drama and chaos that ensued when the outbreak occurred.

The good and bad and his lost love.

Resources are scarce, including medical supplies, ammunition and fuel.

Deacon traverses the ‘Freaker’ infected countryside and towns on his bike. The relationship between man and machine is paramount in this game.

You mustalso continually look for fuel (syphon from abandoned vehicles, steal from camps or find fuel cans by exploring environments), and keep up maintenance on your bike.

Almost like a character of its own, Deacon’s bike can be a needy beast. It will wear down with use and depending on your driving skills, or lack off, may need more or less maintenance as you forge ahead.

The storyline will update to your play style – and while there is a main story, there is so much to be done on the side.

Days Gone, exclusive to PlayStation 4, is a game that adheres to how you play and will work the main story in with your in-game activities.

Whatsmore, unlike previous zombie-esque titles, in Days Gone, it’s not only the human population that was afflicted.

Hiding in the wilderness does not mean that you are safe. Infected bears and dogs are also hungry for non-infected humans.

Then there’s the hordes. This is where the marvel of the PS4 comes in as literally hundreds upon hundreds of ‘Freakers’ surge towards you.

Eventually.

The infected are tuned to listen out for noise. One sound at any given time, could attract a giant horde. Your one bullet that you have in your chamber is not going to go far.

You need to be super resourceful, make use of stealth kills where you can.

All of this super woondrous and expansive gameplay aside, Days Gone is currently hampered with excessive and too frequent load times. Between nearly every cinematic scene is a lengthy load as you emark on the next chapter. First load when firing up the game (either New Game or Continue) is a killer.

I’m hopeful that a future patch sorts these out to keep the game more streamlined.

Days Gone shouldn’t be coined as ‘just another zombie’ game. If you overlook / forgive the loading issue, it is a fully engaging story mixed with compelling and really challenging gameplay puts Days Gone on to the top shelf alongside other PlayStation juggernauts; The Last of Us, God of War and Detroit.

First previewed at E3 in 2017, then previewed (hands-on) by me a couple of months ago, Days Gone is one of THE games you have been waiting for in 2019.

Serious PS4 gamers shouldn’t pass this one by.

Recently I found myself in a darkened underground bunker-like setting filled with the bodies of the infected and an array of screens in Sydney, Australia which set the scene for an exclusive preview event of Sony PlayStations’ newest IP, Days Gone.

The extended hands-on session saw selected media and influencers take on the role of Deacon. A former patched bikie gang member, rough, ruthless yet loyal to his closest, trying to survive in the back-waters, dirt roads of small state U.S. in the aftermath of an outbreak that caused people to turn into ravenous infected zombie-like creatures.

The infected, known as ‘Freakers’ have varying stages and in some humans the outbreak had differing affects. It’s not just humans that turned with the viral outbreak, animals too. So during your time with Days Gone, you always need to watch your back and be careful in the shadows and in the wilderness.

Within the hands-one preview I experienced Newts, which will hide and wait for the right moment to attack you and Hordes, which are exactly as they sound. Hordes means exactly that, expect to see hundreds of ‘Freakers’ in an area, if one sees you they all come running, stumbling over each other, all in a crazed panicked frenzy to eat your living flesh.

A wildly expansive game environment, this open world will see many places ripe and ready for exploring. Scrap and salvage is what you need to obtain – and asides from gameplay specific items that you will need to go and scour the environment for, you will always come across nests of infected or small to large groups of them roaming about.

Your foes are not only the ‘Freakers’. Fellow non-infected humans are out for their own. Some solo, some in groups.

For the most part of the preview session Deacon was very much on his own – and as the game tutorial tells you – it’s okay to run if you need to. And on occasion I had to.

Ammo can be limited like all resources, melee combat is made possible usually with something that you find within the environment or have crafted, and if you’re lucky and abandoned camp might have a few bullets.

Some ‘friendly’ inhabited camps usually offer up the service of upgrading your weapons, acquiring new ones and even picking up new objectives and missions.

To say that vital resources are scarce is an understatement. You will very quickly learn the art of crafting items, from salvage and other bits that you pick up. This can be for anything and everything, to heal you, for a weapon, tools or to patch up your bike, which also can take damage if you are not careful. Gas is a commodity in short supply aswell. Gas cans can be found, so always look out for them, but if you run out of gas – you’re on foot.

Days Gone is a game that you can play your way. Go for the main story, but you don’t need to play through it in linear parts. Break away from it for a while, go exploring, go back to it. Your usual open world foray – but a narrative that is suited to your play style. You can complete the story, but in your own way.

There are some very tense moments I experienced in the preview, which I will not divulge here. I don’t want to throw in any spoilers.

An overlaying theme throughout the gameplay is the personality of Deacon. He is a brutal chap and has had a very colourful background, before the outbreak. Scarred emotionally from tragedy and physically from many gang related brawls. His prize possession is his bike and in the game, you do get to ride and ride some more. Deacon is humble, but fierce.

But now he takes care of his own, aims to do the right thing – but if he is crossed, he won’t let the offender or offenders forget it, or forgive them (or even show any mercy).

Days Gone could easily be mistaken for ‘another zombie infested’ game. It’s not.

Similar to The Last of Us series but much much bigger, it breaks away from this cliché franchise and successfully paces and places a path of its own.

A brand new cinematically scoped IP for Sony and one that I can see turning in to a franchise.

Days Gone developed by Bend Studios (most known for the Syphon Filter series) releases on the 26th of April 2019 and needs to be on your must have games of this year.

Whilst the Last of Us 2 failed to make an appearance at E3 this year, Days Gone was definitely the game to fill the void. From the team that most notably brought us Syphon Filter, Bend Studio brings us another take on the post-apocalyptic, action-adventure, survival horror genre with Days Gone.

The game is set two years after a major global pandemic, which has wiped out most of humanity and turned millions of others (animals included) into mindless, zombie-like monsters. In the game, players play as Deacon St. John, an ex-military man turned biker, who is trying to survive in this harsh new world.

While at E3 this year, Sony kindly provided us with sneak peek at some gameplay. Though we only saw about fifteen minutes worth of gameplay, there was just so much going on. Our guide for the presentation, Emanuel Heart from Bend Studio, walked us through the same mission as the one displayed at the PlayStation Media Showcase.

However, instead of Decon being Solid Snake and sneaking through the Level, this time he was John Rambo. One of the main points that was made, which was seen through our guided gameplay, is that Days Gone isn’t a linear game with a ‘correct’ way to do things; each mission within the game can be taken on in whatever way the player chooses. Looking to sneak your way past the Freakers and the Horde? No problem. Care to announce to everyone, dead or alive, that you’re coming by going in guns blazing? Sure, that’s fine too.

Although, as we learnt early on, players may want to consider the timing when deciding to perform certain actions. This is because, as we learnt from our gameplay walkthrough, the world within the game is considered to be a living and breathing thing. There will be day and night cycles and dynamic weather throughout the world and this is going to affect the people (and monstrosities) inside it. The people inside the game will go about their day to day business regardless of whether the player is present, and this can lead to plenty of unscripted events taking place throughout a player’s time within the game.

Games like this are fantastic as it gives players the ability to experience moments within the game that only they can experience. Others who play Days Gone may experience the game in a much different way. In this manner and in many other ways, Days Gone is reminiscent of games such as Fallout and Skyrim, both huge hits in their own right.

After our Days Gone session, we’re convinced that this will be a fantastic game to pick up on PlayStation 4 upon release.

After a full day experiencing all the latest and greatest in video games, the adventure continues as we dove right into Day 2 of E3. With such an extensive range of titles on show across a plethora of publications, it seemed almost unlikely for there to be any hands-on (or rather, in some cases, eyes-on) experiences that could top Day One. Boy, were we wrong.

Our time on the show floor on Day Two was much more eventful as we were offered decent hands-on time with highly anticipated games such as Bravo Team and The Inpatient on the PlayStation VR, Day’s Gone, Spider-Man, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Far Cry 5 and Middle Earth: Shadow of War.

We began our day with twenty minutes of PlayStation VR, having a go on Bravo Team with another journalist, with whom we were on a co-op mission. Bravo Team, is an action-based, first person shooter, in which teamwork is key. Verbal communication between players is imperative in order to survive and avoid enemy detection. The game puts you in complete control of the action as you utilise the PlayStation VR Aim Controller (or VR Gun Controller) and movement of your body to look around corners to take down enemies. The experience is entirely immersive and seemingly realistic of what real life shooters are like.

Bravo Team – PSVR

Next on our list was the creepy game The Inpatient, which according to the PlayStation representative who walked us through the beginning of the game, is a prequel to the popular horror game, Until Dawn. The Inpatient certainly took the term ‘creepy’ to a whole other level as you play as an amnesiac patient at what appeared to be a mental institution. The game requires players to make active choices, which affect the nature of the story and gameplay. It was slightly unnerving to have doctors and orderlies stare at you up close and the jump scares were terrifying.

The Inpatient certainly isn’t for the faint of heart and requires nerves of steel to get through. Fans of horror will love this game!

With the VR experiences out the door and once our nerves were a little more settled, we managed to sit through a rather thrilling eyes-on experience with Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man, which was just so good that we had to give it it’s own write-up.

The Inpatient – PSVR

While the PlayStation titles were intriguing, it was the brilliant and colourful graphics of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Origins and Far Cry 5 that blew us away. Despite being similar to previous iterations of the games, both Origins and Far Cry 5 were extremely stunning. Origins certainly took our interest with its new setting in ancient Egypt. Being set right at the very beginning, essentially follows one of the first Assassins and leads us through the origins of the Brotherhood through amazing gameplay.

Despite having fantastic graphics, Far Cry 5 felt more or less the same as every other Far Cry title. Perhaps our hands on time was too short, but what we experienced wasn’t compelling. Our hands-on essentially consisted of shooting enemies through a small town without any real story or plot, though it was rather amusing having a dog as our primary companion and assistant. Perhaps a proper playthrough will reveal more significant narrative to the game and allow us to feel a little more connected to the lore of Far Cry 5.

Middle Earth: Shadow of War

After a long day of running between halls to make our hands-on sessions, our day finally came to a brilliant end with our final preview, Shadow of War. The theatrical introduction to the game by Warner Brothers Entertainment was spectacular as we were introduced to the various characters and style of gameplay. This sequel to the popular game, Shadow of Mordor, is set directly after the events of the first game and sees us continue our siege to take control of castles ruled by high powered Orcs.

After the introduction, we were given a brief hands-on, which was rather challenging but also a lot of fun. Shadow of War allows players to choose the style of game they wish to play, be it through a full campaign, short side missions or endless amounts of fun in a more sandbox environment. Given that we didn’t want any spoilers, we chose to test our skills in the sandbox. Gameplay was fantastic and the movements of the characters were incredibly fluid.

Middle Earth: Shadow of War

Slicing and dicing Orc minions and their mounts was an enticing challenge as were controlling the enemies and being able to turn them over to our side. The amount of power given to use and the variety of ways to defeat enemies certainly made for a unique gaming experience. The best part? Players need not have played the previous game, Shadow of Mordor, to enjoy the upcoming Shadow of War game.

With such a fun filled day full of hands and eyes-on experiences with some of the best of E3, we’re extremely excited to pick up these games when they release within the next two years.

A. and the PlayStation E3 2017 Media Showcase has just come to a close at The Shrine Auditorium in central Los Angeles, bringing with it all manner of gaming news. As expected, PlayStation put on a show for it’s fans at E3 2017 to showcase up and coming titles with extended features streamed for us, the attending audience and the rest of the PlayStation gamers around the world.

We saw spectacular new trailers for the likes of God of War, Days Gone, Spider-Man, Call of Duty WWII, Destiny 2 and Detroit: Become Human; alongside a host of new game reveals, including Shadow of the Colossus for PS4, new PlayStation VR horror The Inpatient, the new PlayLink range, and Monster Hunter: World from Capcom. And that’s to name but a few.

PlayStation PlayLink

PlayStation also informed the cheering crowds of it’s Sales lead milestone – having cumulatively sold through more than 60.40M PlayStation 4 units to consumers worldwide as of June 11th, 2017.

Then it was on to the really good stuff – games.

We were introduced to Moss.

A PSVR exclusive where you are both guiding the hero Quill with the gamepad and at the same time reaching in and interacting with the environment directly.

Moss tells the tale of the first adventure of an unlikely hero named Quill—a small mouse from a remote forest settlement who is fated to be the key in a much larger story. One day while exploring the woods she finds a mysterious stone and an ancient magic is awakened, linking you together in an extraordinary alliance.

In gameplay, her skills are complementary to yours. You’ll guide her actions through familiar action-adventure controls, while also directly manipulating the field of play as your own character. Mutual communication and shared victories will only strengthen your connection to each other and further your joint resolve.

It’s very cute and a definite play for any PSVR fan.

Moss – PSVR

God of War was astounding and looking signature to it’s very lengthy legend. Details revealed were that this new God of War title will differ from previous editions in the series.

Having been built from the ground up this title featuring a vastly different looking Kratos will be Single Player only (at this stage) a step away from the inclusion of multiplayer as introduced in God of War Ascension.

God of War will be more like an RPG where players will craft an earn knowledge points to better skill and equip themselves. Furthermore having always been a third person actioner, there is a camera adjustment, where the play view will above the right shoulder – as is now common place (and better in my opinion) in similar games.

The Rage ability that we are familair with will have a make-over with Spartan Rage, a timed ability. We can expect Kratos to own our PS4’s once again in 2018.

God of War – PlayStation 4

At last years E3 PlayStation debuted their upcoming open-world action title Days Gone By, where you play as Deacon, set in set in the beautiful high desert of the Pacific Northwest two years after a pandemic has transformed the world. This year the title was touched upon again with some crisp looking new demo footage.

Days Gone By is shaping up to be a title worth waiting for.

We also meet Marcus from Detroit: Become Human.

Detroit: Become Human is Quantic Dream’s next title, for both PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro. It is a neo-noir existential thriller, set in a near future, where androids look, speak, and move like human beings, and operate in society at every level from manufacturers to teachers. It is not long before a more human element starts to come effect for the Androids and they begin to desire freedom…

Markus (played by Jesse Williams) is an android who escaped his master and joined a small group of deviants hiding underground in Detroit.

The new scene we witnessed at E3 this year, Markus executes a covert operation during a cold Detroit night, with the aim of freeing androids that are for sale in a store. If he succeeds, Markus will have the opportunity to send a strong message to humans.

Detroit: Beyond Human – Markus

And not forgetting the simulator / petrol-head PlayStation fans, the mighty Gran Turismo was also featured, with Tokyo Expressway and Nürburgring circuits highlighted in new gameplay footage shown and we learned of the inclusion of the Bathurst track.

Gran Turismo Sport (GT Sport) releases this coming Autumn, exclusively on PlayStation 4.

Of course the new Uncharted: Lost Legacy which is just around the corner premiered. we learned more about the set pieces, the puzzles, cinematic storytelling, and exotic locales and a more indepth telling of the completely new story with Chloe Frazer at the helm.

Cloe is on the hunt for the legendary golden Tusk of Ganesh forged by the ancient Hoysala Empire, and to find it, she enlists the help of Nadine Ross. However, if there’s anything we know about Chloe and Nadine, it’s that they both keep things close to the vest. Over the course of the story, we’ll explore Chloe and Nadine’s struggle to trust one another.

Uncharted: Lost Legacy releases worldwide, exclusively for PlayStation 4 on the 23rd of August, 2017.

Shadow of the Colossus – PlayStation 4 Remaster

This generation of gaming has seen alot of remasters, we and the rest of the audience were both surprised and elated at the reveal of the re-worked Shadow of the Colussus. A groundbreaking game that originally released on the PlayStation 2 back in 2005.

Being fully re-rendered Shadow of the Colossus is a definite welcome to the PlayStation 4 library and is essentially a game that works and is ideal for the console.

In other bits that were covered, the mighty Farpoint is getting some DLC called the Cryo Pack, a new PSVR co-op title called Bravo Team, an intriguing horror title for PSVR; The Inpatient, Knack gets a sequel and Monster Hunter is making a welcome return to PlayStation with Monster Hunter: World.

Then there was the Spiderman Demo.

Spiderman – PlayStation 4

Based on the Marvel franchise this new Spiderman title mixes up the familiar with the unexpected.

Avoiding a retelling of his origin story the new Spider-Man features a 23-year-old Peter Parker who has become a masterful Spider-Man. While he may be more experienced, Peter and Spider-Man’s worlds continue to collide as he tries to juggle them.

PlayStation showed off a real-time gameplay demo where Spider-Man has arrived at a construction site owned by Wilson Fisk (a.k.a. the Kingpin). Fisk’s men are under assault by a gang known as the Inner Demons, and Spider-Man has to stop the bloodshed. In the process, he learns that Martin Li, one of the city’s most prominent philanthropists, secretly leads the Inner Demons via his alter-ego, Mr. Negative.

Martin Li runs the F.E.A.S.T. shelters all across town which only further complicates things for Peter Parker’s personal life, as his beloved Aunt May works at F.E.A.S.T.

It was fast paced, smooth and enough superhero eyecandy to satiate even the hardest of critics. The demo displayed the mechanics of gameplay. Spider-Man’s more powerful improvisational and acrobatic combat style with honed skills making him stronger and more confident in combat. Dodging, using webs, and aerial combat are all second nature.

We saw usage of Web Trip Wire and impact webs. Spiderman on PlayStation 4 will introduce many new gadgets and devices that can be used as during the course of the game.

In all the PlayStation Conference was a spectacular moment for gaming as a whole. With PlayStation having the inclusion of Virtual Reality (VR) via the PSVR it was pleasing to see this medium continually evolve and grow with new titles pushing the capabilities.

At the conclusion of the two hour Conference gamers and media alike were left with a sense of impatient-ness – wanting to play and own all of what we just witnessed.

The year ahead for PlayStation and PlayStation 4 / PSVR owners is an exciting one indeed.

At the Sony PlayStation Press Conference at E3 in L.A. today Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) unveiled Hideo Kojima’s first Kojima Productions title DEATH STRANDING for PlayStation 4 (PS4) and its first teaser trailer. As with all of his past masterpieces, the latest title will be produced, written, directed and designed by Hideo Kojima himself. The lead character will be played by Norman Reedus.

“Today I am very excited to be able to deliver this teaser trailer of DEATH STRANDING, which marks a fresh new start for Kojima Productions,” said Hideo Kojima, Game Designer, Kojima Productions. “Since the establishment of Kojima Productions last December, I have been fully focused on what lies ahead. Thanks to our fans and everyone at SIE who has been supporting us as our partner, and we look forward to delivering ground breaking ‘play’ to our users worldwide.”

Aswell as DEATH STRANDING there was also debuted a line-up of premier content for PlayStation 4, including Days Gone (SIE Bend Studio), Spider-Man (Insomniac Games), LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (TT Games and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment), God of War (SIE Santa Monica Studio), FINAL FANTASY XV (Square Enix), RESIDENT EVIL 7 biohazard (Capcom Co.), and many more.

SIEA also announced the North American launch date as October 13th, 2016, for the release of PlayStation VR (PS VR), a virtual reality system that takes PS4 to the next level of immersion. PS VR will also launch in Australia and New Zealand on October 13th, 2016.

Along with the launch date announcement, SIEA unveiled a breadth of unique PS VR experiences, including Farpoint (Impulse Gear), Star Wars Battlefront: X-Wing VR Mission (Electronic Arts), and Batman: Arkham VR (RockSteady and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment).

“PlayStation’s heritage has been built around innovation and ground-breaking gaming experiences, and today’s reveals of new PS4 and PS VR content speaks to our continued commitment to this evolution of gaming,” said Shawn Layden, President of SIEA and Chairman of SIE Worldwide Studios. “From the reimagining of God of War to the brand new world of Days Gone, this E3 marks one of the best content line-ups in PlayStation history. With the launch of PS VR on the horizon, innovation also has never been stronger at PlayStation as developers, from smaller independent teams to larger studios, have been able to quickly leverage the technology and create unique experiences that truly embody VR’s potential.” PlayStation 4 continues to remain the fastest-selling console in PlayStation history with more than 40 million units sold worldwide, and new game announcements revealed on stage at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles demonstrated how PS4’s library will further expand with an unparalleled line-up of games.

SIE’s Worldwide Studios (SIE WWS) unveiled three new ambitious games during the show — God of War, Spider-Man and Days Gone. Developed by Santa Monica Studio, God of War opened the show with a reveal showcasing a refreshed gameplay experience that continues the next chapter for iconic character, Kratos. As part of the reveal, renowned musical artist Bear McCreary, composer for God of War, shared his score for the game while conducting an incredible live orchestra.

The debut of Spider-Man for PS4 introduced players for the first time to an authentic new Spider-Man story and universe being developed through a close collaboration between Insomniac Games, Marvel and San Mateo Studio.
