Announced as one of Beatport’s Top 10 selling artists of 2019, rising producer Biscits returns to Sonny Fodera’s Solotoko for new single Sundown, as he continues his impressive track record for 2020.

With 2019 only giving us a glimpse of what was capable from the up and comer, Biscits sets the bar even higher for the months ahead. Already releasing his Sit Down EP on Diplo’s Higer Ground imprint whilst scoring a remix for Gene Farris and John Summit’s Bass Go back on Solotoko, Biscits demonstrates his heavyweight potential with loyal backing from the head honchos themselves.

Sonny Fodera has even called on Biscits’ talent for club weapon collabs including their Vibrate EP and Insane EP, adding to Biscits snowballing success. Meanwhile, solo smashes like Do It Like This earned Biscits a no.2 on the Beatport Chart adding to a slew of triumphs on the likes of Sweat It Out, Sola, and more.

Back to Solotoko with even more to give following his performance slots on Sonny Fodera’s Solotoko tour at the likes of Studio 338 in London and Motion in Bristol, Sundown is set to be one of Biscits’ finest releases to date. Featuring a mesmerising diva sample that flows into a punchy synth and vocal loop led breakdown, Sundown makes for the perfect uplifting set anthem that sees Biscits rises above the ranks once again with unstoppable force.

Following their recent single Scratch My Back on Sonny Fodera’s hit LP RISE that landed the no. 5 spot on the Apple Music Dance Chart, Sonny Fodera and Biscits reunite for new EP Vibrate marking their third collab ahead of Sonny’s hotly anticipated Tobacco Dock show in London this weekend with Gorgon City and Steve Lawler as part of his RISE tour.

Last year provided huge successes for both MANT and Biscits as stand-alone artists, now the producers have decided to team up for a triple threat release. With Solardo already backing the rising DJs, the lads welcome the Carnival Tune EP to their Sola label.

Lead EP track Carnival Tune features whirling synth breakdowns amongst a thrilling vocal sample that boasts carnival infusions of punchy drums, sprightly percussion and subtle parade whistles. Meanwhile, Get Busy blends a flourishing arsenal of bassline jitters, a compelling vocal chop and rumbling subs. Demonstrating their whole hosts of skills, MANT and Biscits each bring something unique and captivating to the table.

MANT are a British duo steadily building up their own solid following, with releases on Circus, VIVa and previous release Higher Self on Sola, the duo have moulded an eclectic range of musical influence in to their own signature sound. More recently, their Sonny Fodera collaboration Moving Up reached the Beatport Top 10, while their raucous DJ sets left a mark on festivals and clubs up and down the country last year, tipping them as ones to watch for 2019.

Biscits’ deft productions have been bubbling away for a while now, with his records making their way into the collections of Claude Von Stroke, Gorgon City, TCTS, and Idris Elba to name a few. Now established as one of the most exciting artists to emerge on the scene, his release Do It Like This reached an impressive no.2 spot on the Beatport chart last year and still sits in the Beatport Top 10. With Danny Howard, Pete Tong and MistaJam on BBC Radio 1, championing his Insane EP alongside Sonny Fodera this year, Biscits’ 2019 looks set to be full of promise.
