Ubisoft just announced that the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be coming to mobile devices, including Android and iOS, this April.

This action-adventure platformer, inspired by the Metroidvania genre, has been fully adapted to mobile by Ubisoft Da Nang studio, integrating all features to provide a thrilling experience on the go, no internet connection required.

High-quality graphics and gameplay fluidity are ensured, with a 60 FPS rate on most recent generations of mobile devices. Fully adapted for mobile and tablets, players will be able to experience Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Mobile either with an external controller or using the touch screen.

Thanks to the full control remapping option and touch control customization, players can change the size, position and transparency of various control inputs. This mobile version also introduces new distinct features such as auto-potion, auto-parry, slow time options, and many other quality of life features specific to mobile, bringing a more accessible experience to all players.

All quality-of-life and accessibility features present in the original game and awarded in the “Innovation In Accessibility” category of the Game Awards 2024, are available in this version. This encompasses the Eye of the Wanderer, which allows players to take screenshots and pin them to the map as visual reminders. The game also includes all the optional accessibility features, such as adaptable difficulty for enemy encounters, and platform assist.

In this mobile adventure, players will embody Sargon, a young, gifted Persian fighter from the legendary elite group known as The Immortals. Set in the mythological world of Mount Qaf, players will embark on a journey to rescue the kidnapped Prince Ghassan and restore balance to a once wondrous, now cursed land.

Players will unleash their inner warrior by utilizing Time Powers, combat, and platforming skills to perform stylish combos and defeat a variety of time-corrupted enemies and mythological creatures in Souls-like combat. They will explore a cursed Persian-inspired world filled with larger-than-life landmarks and highly detailed interconnected biomes, each with its own identity, wonder, and danger. The game offers an epic adventure where players immerse themselves in Sargon’s story, solve puzzles, find hidden treasures, and complete quests to uncover the mysteries of Mount Qaf.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be available on mobile devices on April 14, 2025.

Ubisoft has just revealed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be launching on June 6, 2024, on the App Store for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad Air and iPad Pro with M1 chip or later.

Released on consoles and PC on October 5, 2023, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the latest instalment of Ubisoft’s best-selling franchise and will be the first console title of the series for players to enjoy natively on mobile devices.

Players will be able to experience the complete narrative-driven action adventure of Assassin’s Creed Mirage on the go, exploring 9th century Baghdad as Basim, a young thief who transforms into a Master Assassin. Developed by Ubisoft Sofia, the iPhone and iPad versions of the game feature the same experience as the console version. In addition, game controls have been adapted to the iPhone and iPad touch screens, providing an intuitive, comfortable and engaging gaming experience. Cross-progression and cross-save are also available through Ubisoft Connect, letting players transfer their progress across all available platforms.

Available on the App Store, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be free to download and play for 90 minutes. The full version supports Universal Purchase and can be unlocked with a single in-app purchase of so players can enjoy the game on both iPhone and iPad.

Capcom has just announced that Resident Evil 4 is arriving on the latest Apple devices this December.

Summer Game Fest Live show, SQUARE ENIX revealed a new gameplay trailer for FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, the highly anticipated new story in the critically acclaimed FINAL FANTASY VII remake project.

The trailer teased the game’s mysterious story elements, thrilling combat and expansive world that players can look forward to experiencing in early 2024.

A new trailer for the upcoming mobile game FINAL FANTASY VII EVER CRISIS also debuted, announcing the start of pre-registration on the App Store and Google Play.

By pre-registering on an Android device, users will have the chance to participate in an upcoming closed beta test planned for July 6 to 13, 2023 (PST).

Team17 has today announced the launch of Worms WMD: Mobilize on Android and iOS devices, a mobile-optimised version of the 2016 classic turn-based action strategy game.

On its initial release, Worms WMD reinvigorated the beloved series with the introduction of vehicles that allowed the battlefield to be dominated with tanks, mobile armoured walkers, and helicopters. The game also saw the return of classic weapons and items from the series, such as the ninja rope.

Available directly from the Play Store and App Store, Worms WMD: Mobilize includes enhanced mobile functionality that enables game invites through popular messaging systems like WhatsApp and Facebook, and an enlarged user interface.

Running up to 60 frames per second, Worms WMD: Mobilize features vehicles from the original game including the tank and mech, along with 50 weapons, and a single-player mode consisting of 10 training missions and 20 campaign missions, each with three additional objectives for repeat play.

Both online and local multiplayer is available, with up to four teams of four Worms available in local play, and two teams of four Worms online. Customisation of the Worms WMD: Mobilize experience includes over 100 hats, more than 40 different sound banks, 15 victory dances, and over 30 varieties of gravestones. The game can also be played either with on-screen virtual controls or through a Bluetooth-enabled controller.
