Rumours are gaining serious traction in the CIS Counter-Strike scene, with Ivan “zweih” Gogin reportedly set for a quick return to top tier competition. According to multiple insiders, the 18 year old is expected to leave the bench at Team Spirit and join PARIVISION, potentially replacing Andrey “AW” Anisimov in the starting lineup.

The report was first shared by respected scout Aleksei “OverDrive” Birukov and later echoed by several outlets, fuelling speculation that a deal could be close to completion.
PARIVISION in Talks With Spirit Over zweih
Sources claim PARIVISION are currently in discussions with Team Spirit to secure zweih’s signature, less than two weeks after the youngster was moved to the bench. If the move goes through, it would mark a swift turnaround for the Russian rifler following his final appearance for Spirit at the Budapest Major.
OverDrive has stated that zweih is expected to directly replace AW, who has been part of PARIVISION since July after arriving from AMKAL. That signing also triggered a leadership reshuffle, with Dzhami “Jame” Ali taking over in game leading duties following Aleksei “Qikert” Golubev’s departure.
A Short but Eventful Spell on Team Spirit
Zweih’s time on Team Spirit was brief but memorable. He joined the organisation in July after transferring from Nemiga and spent just five months on the active roster. During that period, he helped Spirit claim major victories at IEM Cologne and the BLAST Bounty Season 2 Finals, two of the team’s biggest results of the year.
Despite those highs, consistency proved elusive. Zweih finished his stint with an average 0.92 rating, and Spirit ultimately opted for roster changes after a disappointing second half of the season. The organisation brought back Boris “magixx” Vorobiev and Myroslav “zont1x” Plakhotia, while also moving on from Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov, who chose to take a break from competition.
Head coach Sergey “hally” Shavaev explained at the time that zweih still needed more time to mature and develop into a complete elite level player.
Why PARIVISION Makes Sense
For PARIVISION, the move could be a calculated gamble with long term upside. The team is currently ranked 17th in the global VRS standings and showed promise at the Budapest Major, advancing through the first two stages with wins over Legacy, Liquid, Aurora and Ninjas in Pyjamas.
Their tournament run ended abruptly in Stage 3, however, with an 0–3 exit after losses to MOUZ, Natus Vincere and 3DMAX. Adding a high ceiling prospect like zweih could be seen as an attempt to inject firepower and future potential into the roster.
What Happens Next
As things stand, neither Team Spirit nor PARIVISION have made an official announcement. Still, with consistent reports from trusted insiders, the transfer feels more like a question of when rather than if.
If confirmed, zweih’s move would be one of the more intriguing CS2 roster changes of the offseason, offering the young talent a fresh start while signalling PARIVISION’s intent to keep pushing up the rankings.
