The organisation announced that applicants must meet some key requirements, including being Radiant rank or higher and fluent in Japanese. Players must also be born before 1 January 2008, ensuring all applicants are of competition-eligible age. Those already contracted with another team will need permission from their current organisation before applying.
ZETA Division has made it clear that the goal is ambitious: win VCT Pacific 2026 and go on to compete at VALORANT Champions 2026.
A Fresh Start After a Difficult Season
The recruitment drive comes off the back of a disappointing 2025 campaign. Despite competing in both Stage 1 and Stage 2 of VCT Pacific, ZETA only managed top-ten finishes and missed out on both Masters events as well as VALORANT Champions 2025.
With those results falling below expectations, the team is now casting a wide net to find fresh talent and staff who can help them bounce back in the new season.
Applications will go through multiple stages, starting with a document screening. Successful candidates will then be invited to a tryout before the organisation makes its final selections. ZETA confirmed that applicants will hear back within two weeks of applying.
Recent Roster Changes
ZETA Division has already begun reshaping its VALORANT programme. Earlier this month, assistant coach Carlos ‘Carlão’ Mohn stepped down, while Kim ‘TenTen’ Tae-young was moved to the inactive roster after a five-month run in the starting lineup.
Founded in 2017, ZETA Division has been part of the VALORANT esports ecosystem since 2020 as one of VCT Pacific’s 12 partner teams. Beyond Riot Games’ shooter, the organisation also competes in Fortnite, Overwatch, and PUBG Mobile.
As ZETA looks ahead to 2026, all eyes are on whether the refreshed roster and staff lineup can restore the team to its former glory. For fans eager to see what comes next, applications are now open.
