The wait is nearly over. Riot Games has confirmed ticket details for the 2025 League of Legends World Championship, kicking off in Beijing on 14 October and running through to 9 November. If you’re planning to be there in person, here’s everything you need to know about sales, prices, and entry requirements.

When do Worlds 2025 tickets go on sale?
The first wave of ticket sales covers the Play-In and Swiss Stages in Beijing.
- Presale for Mastercard holders: Opens 16 September at 10 AM CST. Each person can buy a maximum of two tickets.
- General sale: Opens 19 September at 10 AM CST.
Tickets for the Quarterfinals and Semifinals in Shanghai, as well as the Grand Final in Chengdu, will be announced later.
Ticket prices for Beijing stages
Tickets for the Play-In and Swiss Stage are split into two tiers:
- Tier 1: ¥488 (around US$68.50 / £50.57 / €58.50)
- Tier 2: ¥388 (around US$54.30 / £40.22 / €46.50)
Sales will go live on the official Maoyan ticketing platform, the only verified site for Worlds 2025 tickets.
Domestic and international ticket rules
Whether you’re a local fan or travelling from overseas, you’ll need proper ID to secure your seat:
- Domestic tickets are bound to your resident ID number. This must be entered when you purchase and will be required for entry.
- International tickets are tied to your passport number, also required at purchase and entry.
Each account can only buy up to two tickets per match. No transfers or resales are allowed.
Refunds and restrictions
If plans change, Riot is offering a refund window from 7 October (2 PM CST) to 11 October (2 PM CST). Refunds are unconditional but can only be processed once per ticket or order.
There are also clear event rules:
- Spectators under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Large props, full-face cosplay masks, and professional cameras are banned.
- Bags must be smaller than 38cm × 38cm × 25cm, with no storage service available for Beijing matches.

Worlds is the pinnacle of competitive League of Legends, bringing together 17 of the best teams across the globe to battle for the Summoner’s Cup and a share of the US$5 million prize pool.
