Virtus.pro has partnered with Gamers Outreach to launch a new fundraising campaign aimed at delivering gaming equipment and experiences to children in hospitals. The Virtus.pro Gamers Outreach fundraising campaign is already live, with the organisation rallying its players, streamers, staff, and global fanbase to help reach a US$20,000 target.

The initiative is positioned as a community-powered effort, with every contribution going directly towards supporting children facing long hospital stays.

Virtus.pro And Gamers Outreach Launch $20,000 Fundraiser

The campaign is hosted via Virtus.pro’s Tiltify page and is working towards raising $20,000, roughly £14,860. According to reporting by journalist Joey Morris, the partnership was formally announced on February 19, 2026, and centres on equipping hospitals with gaming setups and programmes provided by Gamers Outreach.

On social media, Virtus.pro said: “Together with our players, streamers, staff, and global community, we’re launching a fundraising campaign to help Gamers Outreach deliver gaming equipment and experiences to kids facing long hospital stays.”

The organisation framed the effort as a winter initiative, highlighting gaming’s ability to provide comfort and distraction during difficult treatment and recovery periods.

What Gamers Outreach Does In Hospitals

Gamers Outreach is a non-profit organisation that supplies video game technology and structured gaming programmes to children’s hospitals. Its mission focuses on helping young patients cope with long-term treatment by offering accessible, bedside-friendly gaming equipment and curated experiences.

The charity has become a familiar name in esports and gaming circles due to repeated collaborations with publishers, teams, and tournament organisers. One notable example came in 2019, when ESL partnered with the charity for the “Gaming for Good” initiative. During IEM Chicago that year, ESL donated $10 for every ticket sold to support Gamers Outreach.

That history adds context to the Virtus.pro Gamers Outreach fundraising campaign, showing that this type of collaboration has precedent within competitive gaming.

Virtus.pro’s Previous Charity Work

This is not Virtus.pro’s first venture into philanthropy. In 2025, the organisation launched a £5,000 fundraiser, around $6,660 at the time, in support of the World Wide Fund for Nature and its polar bear conservation efforts.

By comparison, the current $20,000 target marks a larger-scale fundraising push and signals continued interest from Virtus.pro in aligning its brand with social impact initiatives.

The messaging around the campaign emphasises that this is a global effort powered by the wider community, rather than a limited regional project.

Esports As A Platform For Social Impact

The Virtus.pro Gamers Outreach fundraising campaign also sits within a broader trend of esports organisations supporting charitable causes.

In 2025, FlyQuest collaborated with T1 during the League of Legends World Championship, linking donations to team performance throughout the tournament. Meanwhile, Riot Games has continued to expand its Social Impact Fund. Since launching in 2019, Riot’s initiative has raised $63 million, around £46.8 million, benefiting more than 450 organisations across 28 regions.

As esports audiences continue to grow globally, teams are increasingly using their reach to amplify charitable causes. For Virtus.pro, this latest campaign blends competitive gaming culture with community-driven fundraising in a way that extends beyond the server.

With the fundraiser now live, the focus shifts to whether the organisation’s players, creators, and supporters can help push the campaign past its $20,000 goal in the coming weeks.
