Twitch’s annual SUBtember celebration is back for 2025, and this time it is arriving with some big changes, fresh rewards, and a special twist. Running from 29 August through 1 October, SUBtember gives viewers the perfect chance to support their favourite streamers while saving money on subscriptions.
This year, VALORANT Champions Paris 2025 is taking the spotlight as the official sponsor, meaning Twitch fans and esports followers will both have reasons to celebrate.

Discounted Twitch Subscriptions
As always, the main draw of SUBtember is cheaper subs. Whether you are looking to back your favourite creator or upgrade your perks, there are solid savings across the board:
- 25% off 1-month subscriptions
- 25% off 3-month subscriptions
- 30% off 6-month subscriptions
These discounts apply to the first term only, and they cover new recurring subs, Prime subs converted to paid, gift subs converted to paid, monthly subs upgraded to multi-month, and Tier upgrades.
What is not included? Existing subs, Turbo, and gift subs on their own are not part of the deal, unless you upgrade or convert them during the event.
The discounts can be claimed on both desktop and mobile through the Twitch website or app, so you can grab them no matter how you watch.
Bonus Gift Subs with VALORANT Champions
The headline feature this year is the Bonus Gift Sub Finale, running from 26 September to 1 October. To celebrate VALORANT Champions Paris, Twitch has teamed up with Riot Games to make gifting even bigger.
For every five gift subs you buy in a channel, VALORANT will add one bonus gift sub for free. On top of that, Twitch and VALORANT will occasionally drop extra subs throughout the finale, giving fans more ways to back the communities they love.
All Bonus Gift Subs are handled through the official /valorant Twitch channel, and there is no cap on how many you can give.
Exclusive SUBtember 2025 Chat Badge
Want to show off that you were part of SUBtember? Subscribing, gifting, or using Bits during the event unlocks an exclusive 2025 chat badge. It may take a couple of days to appear in your account, but once it is unlocked, you can use it forever.
Treasure Trains Come Early
Another highlight is the change to Treasure Trains. Usually, you would need to reach Level 5 in a Hype Train to unlock discounted gift subs. This year, SUBtember lowers the requirement to Level 2, making it easier than ever to unlock community discounts.
Do note that Treasure Trains and custom gift sub promotions will not be active during the Bonus Gift Sub finale, so make the most of them earlier in the month.
