A New Kill Bill Story Comes to Life in Fortnite

Fortnite is about to host one of its most unexpected crossovers yet, as Quentin Tarantino’s long-lost Kill Bill chapter, Yuki’s Revenge, finally steps into the spotlight. The short film premieres in-game on November 30 at 2 PM ET, giving Fortnite players the world-exclusive first look at a story Tarantino never brought to cinemas.

This new chapter focuses on Yuki Yubari, the sister of Gogo Yubari, and is built entirely in Unreal Engine using Fortnite’s character models. Uma Thurman returns as the Bride for at least one line, reconnecting fans with a key moment in the Kill Bill timeline.

The Lost Chapter Comes to Fortnite First

According to Epic, Tarantino originally imagined this chapter more than 20 years ago as part of the wider Kill Bill saga. The story follows Yuki travelling to the United States to hunt down Beatrix Kiddo, likely set shortly before or after the Bride’s showdown with Vernita Green. The premiere can be found in the top row of Fortnite’s Discover menu, with doors opening 30 minutes before the event begins to let fans hop in early.

Epic Games has released a trailer that shows Yuki in action, swinging weapons with the same charming brutality that made Gogo Yubari a fan favourite. Tarantino enthusiasts may notice the scene composition and pacing harken back to the classic Kill Bill style, complete with stylised violence and anime-inspired flair.

The Fortnite Chapter Zero Hour Finale

The timing of the crossover lines up with Fortnite’s upcoming Chapter finale event, happening on November 29 at 2 PM ET. With the next Chapter dropping soon after, Fortnite players logging in between November 27 at 9 AM ET and December 1 at 9 AM ET will automatically receive the new Yuki Yubari Outfit for free. Fortnite describes her arrival as “a big bloody deal,” hinting that Yuki may play a role across multiple modes or events.

Watch It Again in Theatres

For fans who want to experience Yuki’s Revenge on the big screen, participating theatres across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom will show the short starting December 5. It will appear as part of the limited theatrical run of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, an extended presentation that stitches together Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 into a single cut.

Cinemas in the United States are also offering an exclusive bonus. Players who purchase an opening-weekend ticket between November 20 and November 29 will receive a code that unlocks the Gogo Yubari Outfit in Fortnite starting November 30.

A Revival of Kill Bill Hype

The arrival of Yuki’s Revenge has reignited Kill Bill speculation, especially after Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair returned to cinemas earlier this year. Some fans are hopeful this renewed interest could be leading to Kill Bill Vol. 3, although Tarantino has remained quiet about his next and supposedly final film.

Still, this unique crossover blends the worlds of film and gaming in a way only Fortnite can. Whether you plan to jump into the premiere, watch it at the cinema, or do both, Tarantino’s lost chapter has become one of the most talked-about Fortnite events of the year.
