A Taste of T1 Arrives in Southeast Asia

Legendary League of Legends team T1 is bringing its global esports flair to fans in Southeast Asia, with the official announcement of T1 Cafés opening in Malaysia and Thailand on October 18, 2025.

The announcement dropped on T1’s official X (formerly Twitter) page, exciting fans across Asia with the promise of themed food, drinks, and exclusive merchandise inspired by the team’s star players, Zeus, Oner, Keria, Gumayusi, Faker, and Doran.

These pop-up cafés mark T1’s first expansion of its fan café concept outside South Korea, giving regional fans a rare chance to experience a piece of the team’s home base culture.

Locations and Launch Details

According to T1’s post, the cafés will be located at:

  • Malaysia: L2-40B&41, LaLaport BBCC, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur
  • Thailand: 7th Floor, MBK Center, Pathumwan, Bangkok

Both will operate under the Dimension Poptown brand, a concept known for hosting themed cafés and pop-ups featuring major pop culture icons.

The announcement comes while T1 competes in the League of Legends World Championships 2025 in China, making this expansion a celebration of the team’s growing global fanbase.

What’s on the Menu?

The T1 pop-up cafés will serve a range of Korean-inspired dishes and desserts, each themed after one of the team’s players.

Fans can expect:

  • Main dishes priced around RM50 / 380 THB
  • Desserts at RM45 / 280 THB
  • Drinks at RM25 / 180 THB

Each meal includes collectible freebies such as postcards, fans, and stirring sticks featuring T1’s lineup.

For those looking to take home more than memories, the cafés will also stock exclusive T1 merchandise, including badges, keychains, acrylic stands, and trading cards. Some cards even come in hand-signed, gold, or rainbow editions, making them a must-have for die-hard collectors.

Fans Go Wild on Social Media

T1’s announcement immediately set social media ablaze. Fans from Malaysia and Thailand flooded the replies with excitement, while others from Vietnam, Japan, and Indonesia begged for their countries to be next.

“PHILIPPINES, PLEASEEEEEE!” one user wrote, echoing the sentiment of many in the comments.

“OKAY SO WILL THEY BE THERE?!?! ARGHH,” another fan asked, hoping the players themselves might make an appearance.

Malaysian fans also joked about driving hours just to get a taste of the café, while Thai fans proudly declared they were “ready, babyyyyyyyyyy.”

T1’s Café Expansion and Esports Legacy

This isn’t T1’s first foray into café culture. The team’s Base Camp Café in Seoul has long been a hotspot for fans, offering themed meals, gaming PCs, and T1 memorabilia.

Last year, T1’s parent company, T1 Entertainment & Sports, secured a $35 million investment to expand its operations, including physical venues and fan experiences. According to CEO Joe Marsh, part of that investment aimed to bring the T1 experience closer to international fans, a promise now coming true in Southeast Asia.

The move mirrors similar ventures by other esports giants like Gen.G, who recently launched their own Gen.G Gaming Xperience in South Korea.

T1 at Worlds 2025

While the cafés prepare to open their doors, T1 is currently competing at the League of Legends World Championships 2025, aiming to defend their title as reigning champions.

As of now, the team has already defeated FlyQuest but faced a loss to CTBC Flying Oyster in the Swiss Stage. Fans are confident the Korean powerhouse will push through to the Knockout Stage, chasing yet another shot at glory and the $5 million prize pool.

With both Worlds and the café launch happening simultaneously, October is shaping up to be a massive month for T1 and its global fanbase.

Bringing the T1 Experience to the Region

The T1 Cafés in Malaysia and Thailand mark a new era of fan engagement for esports organisations, merging food, culture, and gaming under one roof.

For Southeast Asian fans who’ve long supported the team from afar, this pop-up offers the closest experience yet to stepping into the world of T1, complete with the charm, competition, and collectibles that make the team one of the most beloved in esports history.
