Paper Rex have done it again, the Singaporean powerhouse is officially the first team from VCT Pacific to qualify for VALORANT Champions Paris 2025. After a dominant series win over T1, PRX punched their ticket back to the international stage and showed once more why they’re one of the most exciting teams in the scene.

PRX vs T1 The Match That Sealed It
The clash happened in the VCT Pacific Stage 2 upper bracket semis, with Paper Rex walking in as heavy favourites. Their form throughout the group stage was strong, and with their Masters Toronto win still fresh, they carried plenty of momentum.
T1, on the other hand, had already battled their way past Rex Regum Qeon in the quarters, but when it came time to face PRX, the difference was clear.
On Sunset, T1 tried to gain ground early, but PRX’s trademark aggression and coordination proved too much. Jinggg’s Raze was untouchable, featuring in nearly every kill, while something quietly ticked past the 2,000 career kill milestone.
Moving to Bind, it was more of the same. PRX never let T1 settle, dominating the map from start to finish. By the end, the sweep was complete, and Paper Rex had officially locked their spot at Champions Paris.

Reactions From the Team
Veteran player Khalish “d4v41” Rusyaidee summed up the win:
“It feels good. I think it’s been a while since we qualified for Champions convincingly. I’m really proud of the boys.”
Coach Alexandre “alecks” Sallé added that qualifying early gives the team valuable breathing room:
“The most important thing is we have more time to work on visas and work on our game.”
What’s Next for Paper Rex?
The win secures Paper Rex a place alongside international giants like G2 Esports, Fnatic, and Sentinels, with 12 more spots still up for grabs across other regions.
But PRX’s work in the Pacific isn’t over yet. They now face TALON in the Stage 2 upper bracket final, with a chance to cement themselves as the region’s undisputed best.
Considering this squad already lifted their first-ever international trophy earlier this year in Toronto, they’re entering Paris as one of the most in-form rosters in the world. If they keep this level up, there’s every chance Paper Rex could make a deep run on the biggest stage VALORANT has to offer.
