Oner commits long term to T1

T1 have confirmed that star jungler Mun Oner Hyeon-jun has signed a contract extension that will keep him with the organisation until the end of 2028. The announcement was shared on T1’s official social media channels, with the organisation describing Oner as a player who continues to shape the team’s history and legacy.

The extension adds two more years to Oner’s previous deal, which was set to expire at the end of 2026. It also arrived as a timely boost for fans, landing just before his 23rd birthday and closing out the year with positive news for one of League of Legends’ most successful teams.

Building stability around Faker

Oner’s new deal means he will continue playing alongside mid lane icon Lee Faker Sang-hyeok, whose own contract was extended earlier this year through to 2029. With both players now locked in long term, T1 have reinforced the core of their roster as they look ahead to future LCK seasons and international events.

Since joining T1 in 2021, Oner has been a constant presence during a period of sustained success. He stepped straight into the LCK spotlight without going through the Challengers League and quickly proved himself on the biggest stages.
