Maidar “nocries” B. is officially on everyone’s radar. The 18-year-old Counter-Strike 2 prodigy has confirmed in a short interview with ESL that he’s already received offers from multiple teams competing in ESL Pro League Season 22, marking the next big step in his rapid rise through the CS2 scene.

Speaking with HenryG and HugoTV in an exclusive segment at the event, nocries said, “I can say that some teams that were at this tournament, they reached out. Yeah, of course I have to practice, right now I’m training.”

While he didn’t name names, that single line was enough to send the CS2 community into overdrive. Some fans pointed to Tier 1 organisations like Team Falcons, ENCE, or even HOTU, while others speculated that it could be a smaller roster offering him his first taste of pro play.

“Welcome Falcons nocries,” one fan joked, while another wrote, “HOTU would be hype — not a massive jump to top tier, but a good team to get reps and prove himself.”

From FACEIT Phenomenon to Pro League Attention

Nocries’ sudden rise has been one of the most talked-about stories in Counter-Strike this year. Just last week, FACEIT officially cleared him of all cheating allegations following a months-long investigation that included LAN testing at the company’s New York headquarters. During those supervised sessions, he reclaimed Rank #1 in North America and even top-fragged in his first FPL match, cementing his legitimacy beyond doubt.

Since then, the young player has been a hot topic in the competitive community, not only for his raw mechanics but also for his composure and grounded attitude.

This isn’t the first time nocries has hinted at his professional ambitions. In an earlier interview with content creator 666unique666, he revealed that if he could build his dream lineup, he’d want to play alongside kyousuke and m0NESY, calling them “crazy” and “nice” both in-game and in person. That comment quickly sparked rumours of a possible connection to Team Falcons  who just happen to have both NiKo and m0NESY on their stacked roster.
