MOUZ have had enough of playing behind closed doors. The German CS2 giants have turned their online BLAST Bounty qualifier matches into a proper in-person experience, and it’s all happening at their Hamburg headquarters.

On Thursday, 7 August, fans poured into MOUZ HQ at Glockengießerwall 1 to watch the team take on OG live. It wasn’t just a stream on a big screen, the players were right there, visible while competing, giving supporters the rare chance to see the squad in action up close. Doors opened at 2pm, entry was free, and the atmosphere was electric.

The team clearly loved it too, sticking around after the match for a quick Q&A and some photos with the crowd. “What a day. Thanks for coming today ❤️ See you on Saturday or Sunday,” MOUZ posted after the event.

And they meant it, the experience isn’t over yet. Round two is locked in for Sunday, 10 August, once again at the MOUZ HQ. This time doors open at 12:30pm, and just like before, entry is free. Fans can expect the same intimate setting, the same up-close look at top-level Counter-Strike, and the same chance to meet the players afterwards.

Of course, whenever a crowd is brought into an online match, the question of “unfair advantage” pops up. Some fans wondered if the live atmosphere might leak information or disrupt opponents. MOUZ, however, have addressed this head-on, the player booths are soundproof, and the broadcast runs on a delay to make sure no intel slips through. It’s still an online match, just with a lot more heart in the room.

It’s a simple idea, but one that’s clearly hitting the mark. By bringing the crowd into their home base, MOUZ are blurring the line between online play and a LAN environment, all while giving their fans something special. And for a team still buzzing from a strong run at IEM Cologne, that extra bit of crowd energy might just give them the edge they need to push through the BLAST Bounty qualifiers and on to Malta.
