Counter-Strike fans are getting something fresh for the competitive scene. Minh “Gooseman” Le, the original creator of Counter-Strike, has teamed up with former HEROIC coach Mihajlo “Feed” Petrović to launch Metastack, a brand-new analytical and tactical platform designed specifically for Counter-Strike 2.

Officially announced on September 23 and set to launch globally on September 30 at 6pm CET, Metastack has already been trialled by several top CS2 pros and coaches behind the scenes. According to its creators, the tool has been in secret use for over four months and has already replaced platforms like Google Drive for the teams testing it.
What Metastack Offers
Metastack is an all-in-one esports workspace built with CS2 in mind. It gives players and teams a central hub to store, create, and share tactical knowledge. Instead of scattering notes, demos, and strategies across multiple apps, everything sits inside one unified platform.
Players can organise their own game plans, pull from a massive content library of strategies, and import fresh ideas directly into their workspace. Teams can also streamline prep work, cutting down the time spent on admin and putting the focus back on practice and performance.
But Metastack isn’t just for the pros. Casual CS2 players will find a community hub where they can share tactics, climb a leaderboard by earning Metapoints, and even unlock rewards.
Big Names Already On Board
Feed, who left HEROIC in June to dedicate himself fully to Metastack, is leading the project as CEO and product designer. He’s joined by backend developer Milos Nikic and senior frontend developer Sava Vidakovic.
Several high-profile figures have already endorsed Metastack. Falcons’ in-game leader Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski, Team Spirit rifler Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich, FURIA head coach Sidnei “sidde” Macedo, and CS2 pundit Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović all appeared in Metastack’s reveal video.
Partizan’s Vladan “kind0” Mandic also praised the tool, saying, “We’ve been using this for a while now, insanely useful tool. Can’t picture having a team and not using it.”
Gooseman’s Involvement
Gooseman isn’t just lending his name to the project; he’s actively advising the team. Speaking to Jaxon, he explained how he first connected with Feed at the HLTV Awards last year:
“I really loved his personality and passion on the project and when he showed it to me, I was immediately impressed. It really amazed me how much thought went into it and Mihajlo’s experience in CS2 coaching is really evident in the way Metastack is designed. I’m really excited to help him bring this tool to the Counter-Strike competitive scene.”
With the creator of Counter-Strike himself backing the project, Metastack has serious credibility as it steps into the spotlight.
When Does Metastack Launch?
Metastack officially goes live on September 30, 2025, at 6pm CET. For both pro teams and casual players looking to sharpen their strategies, it could become the next must-have tool in the CS2 ecosystem.
