The wait is over, Marvel Rivals Season 4.5 has officially landed, bringing a wave of fresh content, balance changes, and a brand-new hero to shake up the battlefield.

Daredevil Joins the Fight

The Man Without Fear has officially joined the roster in Marvel Rivals Season 4.5. Daredevil enters as a close-range duelist with a skillset focused on agility, precision, and relentless combos. Alongside his arrival comes a new lore chapter titled The Long Road Back, adding more depth to his journey within the expanding Marvel Rivals universe.

Daredevil’s introduction marks one of the most anticipated hero additions yet, giving players a fresh way to approach melee-focused combat and team compositions.

New Limited-Time Event: Jade Scrolls of K’un-Lun

Season 4.5 introduces the Jade Scrolls of K’un-Lun, a limited-time event packed with cosmetics and missions. Completing these event challenges will unlock the free Storm. Judicator XieZhi costume, while premium players can earn extra outfits such as Spider-Man. Black & Gold and Psylocke. Fleeting Butterfly.

Fresh Twitch Drops and Rewards

There’s plenty to earn outside the game too. Marvel Rivals has launched a new wave of Twitch Drops for Season 4.5, offering exclusive items for those who tune in to official streams. Players can grab the Mister Fantastic, Will of Galacta costume and themed bundle content, while tournament broadcasts will feature commemorative sprays and emojis.

New Store Bundles and Quality-of-Life Features

NetEase has also dropped several new in-game bundles, including Daredevil – Devil 2099, Hulk – Maestro, and Daredevil – Fearless Origin. A home background switch system now lets players personalise their main menu screen, and the new Volleyball Bash emote adds fun multi-hero interactions.

On top of that, multiple gameplay tweaks and stability improvements have been implemented to enhance the overall experience.

Ranked Rewards and Faction Changes

For the competitive crowd, Season 4.5 introduces all-new ranked rewards. Reaching Gold rank now grants the Daredevil – Shenloong’s Creed costume, while Diamond and Platinum players can earn unique nameplate frames. Top-tier players hitting Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity, or Top 500 will unlock brand-new crests of honour.

Inactive factions will now be cleared after two idle seasons, though any member can revive their group by logging in during the current season.

Performance Fixes and Hero Updates

Season 4.5 brings a range of fixes and optimisations across all platforms. The team invitation interface now clearly shows friend status, and bugs affecting blocked messages and microphone toggles have been resolved.

Hero adjustments include smoother terrain interaction for Jeff the Land Shark’s ultimate ability and fixes for Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation to prevent erratic movement during network lag.

Since its launch in December 2024, Marvel Rivals has continued to evolve, surpassing 40 million players worldwide. With each new update, NetEase and Marvel Games expand the game’s world, heroes, and systems, and Season 4.5 is easily one of the biggest yet.
