The Marvel Rivals competitive scene is heating up, and this August it’s coming with a bit of extra flair. The Ignite Mid-Season Finals are kicking off on 6 August 2025, bringing together top-tier factions from around the globe to clash for glory, and a hefty USD $500,000 prize pool.

Twitch Drops Return

In celebration of the finals, Twitch Drops are making a return, packed with cosmetic goodies for fans who watch the official streams. From 6 August through to early September, players who connect their Marvel Rivals and Twitch accounts will be able to unlock a series of rewards just by racking up a few hours of viewing time.

According to NetEase, the rewards include exclusive sprays, nameplates, emotes, and the big prize? Limited ‘Ignite’ Star-Lord skin. No hidden tricks, just a bit of time watching the tournament live on Twitch.

Here’s how the Twitch Drops schedule breaks down:

6 August – 2 September

  • Watch 1 hour – Mid-Season Ignition Spray
  • Watch 1.5 hours – Ignite Guangzhou Nameplate

9 August – 5 September

  • Watch 1 hour – Mid-Season Guangzhou Spray
  • Watch 1.5 hours – Ignite Star-Lord Nameplate

10 August – 6 September

  • Watch 2 hours – Champion Celebration Emote
  • Watch 4 hours – Star-Lord Ignite Costume

     

Make sure you’re watching eligible streams with Drops enabled, and keep the volume on (don’t mute it!) to ensure your view time counts. Once you’ve met the time requirements, just head over to your Twitch Drops Inventory to claim the items, and they’ll show up in your in-game inbox.

How to Get Started

Before you settle in to watch, you’ll need to link your Twitch and Marvel Rivals accounts via the official Marvel Rivals Twitch Drops page.

Log in to your game account on the official Marvel Rivals Twitch Drops page.

After this, select the option to connect your Twitch account.

Head over to Twitch once the event starts and watch streams that have Drops enabled.

It’s a simple login and click-through process, and once that’s done, any time you spend watching eligible streams will start working toward those rewards. After meeting the time quota, open your Drops Inventory and claim the rewards. Then, open up Marvel Rivals and check your in-game inbox to collect the rewards.

The Marvel Rivals Ignite Mid Season Finals run from August 6 to August 10, live from Guangzhou, China. But even if you’re not deep into the competitive scene, the drops alone are worth tuning in for.
