League of Legends legend Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok has just ticked off yet another jaw-dropping milestone, his 700th win in the LCK.

The T1 midlaner reached the mark on 13 August 2025, after a victory over KT Rolster in Round 3-5. It’s a feat no other player in Korea’s top league has ever achieved, and it says a lot about just how long and consistently Faker has been at the top of the game.

Faker made his pro debut back in 2013, joining SK Telecom T1 as a 17-year-old. It didn’t take long for him to turn heads, his clean mechanics, sharp wave control, and perfect timing quickly made him one of the most feared midlaners in the world. That same year, he lifted the 2013 World Championship trophy and gave us some of the most iconic moments in LoL history, including the legendary Zed-vs-Zed outplay against Ryu.

The Rise of the Unkillable Demon King

From 2015 to 2017, Faker led what many still call the SKT dynasty, stacking up domestic titles, two MSI wins, and back-to-back Worlds victories in 2015 and 2016. His champion pool wasn’t just deep, it changed the way midlane was played at the highest level, with picks like LeBlanc, Ryze, Azir, and Ahri becoming part of his trademark.

Even when results dipped in later years, Faker adapted. He shifted from being just the star carry to also becoming the captain, shot-caller, and mentor for younger teammates. That leadership, combined with his still-razor-sharp gameplay, helped usher in a new era for T1 alongside players like Zeus, Oner, Gumayusi, and Keria. Together, they’ve returned to Worlds finals, reclaimed domestic dominance, and even added another Worlds title in 2023.

More Than Just a Number

This 700-win milestone is more than just a number, it’s proof of Faker’s insane work ethic, adaptability, and ability to stay at the top in one of the toughest leagues in the world. After twelve years, the Unkillable Demon King still sets the standard for midlaners everywhere. And the best part? His story isn’t over yet.
