Karmine Corp has officially parted ways with Assistant Coach Žiga “Apples” Jereb following an internal investigation into allegations of inappropriate behaviour and unprofessional conduct.

The French esports organisation confirmed the decision on social media, stating that Jereb was dismissed “with immediate effect for non-compliance with the club’s ethical charter.” This announcement came just days after he was suspended amid allegations of misconduct towards female fans and claims that he had leaked private team information.

According to community reports circulating online, screenshots allegedly showed Jereb engaging in inappropriate conversations with fans and threatening self-harm when confronted. Additional claims suggested he had shared confidential scrim details and attempted to interfere with player transfers.

In a personal statement posted on social media, Jereb admitted fault and said he fully accepted Karmine Corp’s decision.

“I recognise that my actions have caused harm to the club and that the relationship with the fans cannot be repaired,” he wrote. “I take full responsibility for my actions and accept the club’s decision.”

He went on to clarify that while he did share internal details and interacted privately with fans, “all of the discussions were consensual” and that “nothing illegal” occurred. “I understand now that it was wrong to interact with fans in private regardless of the outcome,” he added. “I acknowledge my errors, I apologise, and I regret that this journey is ending this way.”

The online community’s reaction has been overwhelmingly negative, with many fans condemning his actions and accusing the organisation of acting too late. Reddit discussions surrounding the situation drew heavy criticism, with some users alleging that the misconduct had been known internally before going public.

For Karmine Corp, the decision marks a significant internal shake-up as the team looks to rebuild ahead of the 2026 League of Legends EMEA Championship season. The organisation recently finished fourth in the 2025 Summer Split, narrowly missing qualification for the World Championship.

While Karmine Corp won’t be heading to Worlds this year, the team is confirmed to participate in the upcoming Red Bull League of Its Own event at Munich’s SAP Garden in November, joining the likes of G2 Esports, T1, and Los Ratones for an off-season showmatch showcase.

As the dust settles, Karmine Corp will likely begin its search for a new Assistant Coach as it works to restore internal stability and public trust before the next competitive split begins.
