HP Expands Its Riot Games Collaboration

HP is doubling down on esports hardware, unveiling two new additions to its OMEN lineup developed in collaboration with Riot Games. Announced during the 2025 League of Legends World Championship in Chengdu, China, the company revealed the OMEN 16 League of Legends Limited Edition Laptop and the OMEN 25 Gaming Monitor.

Both devices were designed with input from Riot’s competitive ecosystem, combining fan-inspired aesthetics with tournament-grade performance. The new lineup builds on HP’s growing partnership with Riot Games, following the recent release of the OMEN 35L VALORANT Limited Edition Desktop.

“From all-out competition to all-in fandom, players want gear that reflects how they play,” said Josephine Tan, Senior Vice President and Division President of Personal Systems Gaming Solutions at HP Inc. “This launch and continued collaboration with Riot Games celebrates both, with performance and design that resonates with the gaming community.”

Under the hood, it’s just as powerful as it is stylish. The laptop packs up to an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, and 32GB DDR5-5600 RAM, ensuring smooth, responsive performance even during the most intense matches.

HP has also upgraded its thermal system with a wider fan gap, additional heat pipes, and quieter acoustics for longer, cooler sessions. The 16:10 QHD display supports up to 240Hz, offering crisp visuals and lightning-fast motion clarity ideal for competitive gaming.

The laptop also integrates OMEN AI, a built-in optimisation engine within OMEN Gaming Hub that automatically tunes power, thermals, and performance in real-time. Whether you’re climbing ranked or binging ARAMs, it ensures optimal performance without manual tweaking.

Riot’s Global Head of League of Legends Esports, Chris Greeley, commented: “Worlds is the ultimate celebration of League of Legends and our community. HP’s innovation continues to push what’s possible in gaming and esports.”
