FaZe Clan’s own Kaysan is set to bring some competitive Call of Duty action to TwitchCon San Diego with his upcoming Showdown VII tournament. The popular content creator and newly minted Atlanta FaZe minority owner will host a two-versus-two Black Ops 6 event on October 18, 2025.

Four teams will battle it out on stage, with duos representing FaZe Vegas, Los Angeles Thieves, OpTic Texas, and Team Falcons all competing. The format is Search and Destroy, with the best duo claiming bragging rights and the lion’s share of a $25,000 prize pool.

A milestone for both Kaysan and TwitchCon

This marks the eighth instalment of Kaysan’s Showdown series, which has quickly become a regular feature in competitive gaming. The last edition back in April saw four Halo Infinite squads fight for $50,000, and now the spotlight shifts back to Call of Duty just weeks before the launch of Black Ops 7 on November 14.

The event also carries a bit of added intrigue. It will be one of the first times players from Saudi-backed Team Falcons’ Warzone roster go head-to-head with established Call of Duty League pros, offering a fresh clash of styles and talent.

TwitchCon San Diego itself is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. The convention has grown into a global hub for streamers and fans, with panels, workshops, and an expo featuring the latest games and technology.

Twitch Rivals at the heart of the action

Kaysan’s Showdown VII is part of the Twitch Rivals series, which will feature a range of competitions across the weekend. Alongside Call of Duty, fans can expect tournaments in Marvel Rivals, Street Fighter, and even GeoGuessr, all streamed live on the official Twitch Rivals channel.

As for Showdown VII, viewers who can’t make it to San Diego can catch all the action live on Kaysan’s own Twitch channel.

With TwitchCon San Diego celebrating a decade of bringing creators and communities together, Kaysan’s 2v2 Black Ops 6 tournament is shaping up to be one of the standout esports moments of the weekend.
