Passion UA has officially unveiled its brand-new Counter-Strike 2 roster, and it’s a pretty big shake-up. The Ukrainian organisation has pulled in four former Complexity players, Johnny “JT” Theodosiou, Michael “Grim” Wince, Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli, and Nick “nicx” Lee, who will now line up alongside Ukrainian rifler Vladyslav “Kvem” Korol.

From Complexity to Passion UA

This comes right after Complexity stepped away from Counter-Strike, citing tough economic times. With the organisation exiting, its players and staff were free to find a new home, and Passion UA snapped them up.

The move also reunites the quartet with their long-time coach, Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen. The South African tactician had been with Complexity for over three years, and worked with JT for more than eight. He joined Passion UA back in April, and now finds himself once again calling the shots for the players he knows inside out.

Kvem Holds His Spot

Kvem, who was part of Passion UA’s old roster, stays on as the final piece of the puzzle. He replaces Danny “Cxzi” Strzelczyk, who was released during the reshuffle.

Before this announcement, Passion UA had gone through heavy roster changes, parting ways with Woro2k and Topa while benching jackasmo and DemQQ. The fresh line-up looks much more stable and experienced, with proven synergy from the former Complexity squad.

Upcoming Battles

Passion UA won’t be waiting long before stepping onto the server. The new roster inherits Complexity’s VRS ranking and tournament invites, meaning they’re already locked in for several big events, including:

  • DraculaN Season 1 – starting August 29
  • StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025 (Europe)
  • Fragadelphia Blocktober
  • StarLadder Budapest Major in November

Even though the team has a split between European and American players, they’ll still be competing in the Americas division due to the updated VRS regional rules.

What It Means

For Passion UA, this marks a massive step forward. They’ve not only gained stability with an experienced core, but also inherited invites to top-tier tournaments that immediately put them on the international stage. For fans, it’s a chance to see a familiar line-up reborn under a new banner – one that’s ready to prove itself all over again.

The new Passion UA roster is:

  • Johnny “JT” Theodosiou
  • Michael “Grim” Wince
  • Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli
  • Nick “nicx” Lee
  • Vladyslav “Kvem” Korol

With some big events on the horizon, Passion UA are set to write their next chapter, and if their tweet is anything to go by, they’re aiming for victories right out of the gate.
