The stage is set in London as Vitality and G2 lock horns in the grand final of BLAST Open London 2025. After cruising through their semi-final clashes, the two European powerhouses will face off in a best-of-five series to decide who lifts the trophy.

Vitality were first to book their spot in the final after dismantling MOUZ 2-0. On Mirage, the French-led side punished their opponents for a series of slip-ups, most notably turning a full eco round into a momentum-shifting win. A 1v2 clutch from Lotan “Spinx” Giladi briefly kept MOUZ alive, but Vitality’s relentless A-site hits proved too much as they closed out the map 13-7.

Inferno told a similar story. Despite MOUZ finding early clutches, Vitality’s defensive half was airtight. Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut led the charge with a triple kill in the pistol round, and the team never looked back, sealing the series with a 13-8 scoreline. It marks Vitality’s first grand final appearance since the BLAST.tv Austin Major, with William “mezii” Merriman now one win away from lifting a trophy on home soil.

On the other side of the bracket, G2 rolled past FURIA with equal dominance. Their new-look roster wasted no time stamping their authority on Inferno, storming to an 8-4 lead at half-time before Álvaro “SunPayus” García and Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko put the finishing touches on a commanding 13-5 victory.

Mirage was tighter in the first half thanks to clutch plays from FURIA’s Danil “molodoy” Golubenko and Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis, but once sides swapped, G2’s firepower overwhelmed the Brazilians. SunPayus once again stole the spotlight, finishing with a 1.78 rating as G2 wrapped up another 13-5 to punch their ticket to the grand final.

The final will see Vitality, hungry for their first title of the second half of the year, go up against a revitalised G2 squad aiming to end their five-month drought. With both teams in hot form, fans can expect fireworks in what promises to be a thrilling best-of-five.
