Ukraine’s Next Generation Steps Into the Spotlight
Ukrainian organisation B8 Esports have officially unveiled their brand-new Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) academy lineup, showcasing a promising roster of young talent aged between 14 and 17.
According to the team, the idea of forming an academy has been in development for quite some time. After extensive scouting, B8 have now assembled a group of rising players who are already competing in online tournaments and qualifiers, with hopes of soon appearing on HLTV-covered events.
Meet the New Faces of B8 Academy
The full B8 Esports Academy roster is made up entirely of Ukrainian players:
- Dmytro “r0se” Pankiv – 14 years old
- Oleksandr “La1roN” Bilyakov – 17 years old
- Volodymyr “k1n” Kozovyk – 17 years old
- Denys “sherman” Kanchalaba – 16 years old
- Mykhailo-Nazarii “segukawa” Bybel – 15 years old
The team will be led by Dmytro “t0kk” Petrenchuk as coach, a figure well known within the regional scene. B8 also extended a special thanks to CSDE for facilitating the transfer of k1n, one of the key additions to the squad.
