The exhibition will now span the East Exhibition Halls, South Exhibition Halls, and the Rooftop Exhibition Area, creating the largest floor space in the event’s history. The official AnimeJapan KICK OFF 2026 video has confirmed the full lineup across all 50 AJ stages, giving fans an early look at what to expect. The stages are split across four main areas, RED STAGE, GREEN STAGE, BLUE STAGE, and WHITE STAGE.

AnimeJapan 2026 tickets are available in two main categories, both priced at ¥2,500 per day, tax included. There are no two-day passes, and each ticket is valid for one day only.

Admission Tickets With Stage Lottery

Sales run from January 16, 2026 at 20:00 JST until February 24, 2026 at 23:59 JST. Children under 12 can enter for free, but must have a stage lottery ticket to view AJ stages. Stage lottery applications open from February 27 to March 5, 2026.

Admission Tickets Without Stage Lottery

Sales begin February 25, 2026 and continue until March 27, 2026, while supplies last. These tickets do not allow participation in the stage lottery.

Tickets are issued as web tickets through Trip.com and require an internet-connected device for entry, as there is no free Wi-Fi available at the venue. AnimeJapan has also reiterated its strict ban on ticket reselling, transfers, or commercial use, with no refunds or reissues under any circumstances.

Attractions And Activities Returning For 2026

AnimeJapan 2026 is bringing back its most popular on-site attractions, with several new twists.

Official merchandise will feature key visual characters, along with AnimeJapan-exclusive items and collaborations between traditional Japanese crafts, illustrators, and anime creators. Full product details will be revealed closer to the event.

The Production Works Gallery will return with the theme “Producer,” highlighting one of the most essential roles in anime production. Visitors may even encounter producers behind their favourite series.

Cosplayer’s World will introduce AnimeJapan’s first travelling CDEF event, complete with themed photo backdrops, interactive activities, and dedicated changing rooms and cloakrooms for cosplayers.

The AJ Food Park will once again offer a wide range of food options, with 10 food stalls across the venue and an Animate collaboration food truck on site.

The AJ Digital Stamp Rally is also back, encouraging fans to explore the entire venue by collecting digital stamps at key visual character standees.

Business Day And Family Anime Festa Details

In addition to the public days, AnimeJapan 2026 will host Business Days on March 30 and 31 at the Tokyo Big Sight Conference Tower, aimed at industry professionals.

Family Anime Festa 2026 will run alongside the public days on March 28 and 29 in the South Exhibition Hall, offering a more family-friendly anime experience.
