From marathon livestreams to expert live commentary, Twitch audiences spent an extraordinary amount of time watching their favourite creators in the final months of 2025. A new research report by Streamproject DE and Distributed via Easy Media has now revealed exactly which streamers dominated viewer attention, and the results underline just how competitive the platform has become at the top.
A New Look at Twitch’s Most Watched Streamers
According to a new study published by Streamproject DE, Twitch streamers generated tens of millions of hours watched between October and December 2025. The research, based on livestream data from SullyGnome, analysed total watch time for every broadcast during the three month period to determine where viewers were spending the most time.
The findings paint a clear picture of intense competition, high engagement, and the growing importance of consistency over short term spikes in viewership.
Caedrel Claims the Top Spot
Sitting firmly at number one is Caedrel, who generated more than 18.2 million hours watched in just one quarter. A former professional League of Legends player turned analyst, Caedrel has become a staple for fans seeking expert breakdowns of major tournaments.

By regularly co-streaming high profile League of Legends events and analysing drafts, strategies, and in game decisions live, Caedrel maintained an average audience of over 60,500 viewers throughout the period. That combination of expertise and frequent streaming proved decisive in securing first place overall.
A Tight Race at the Very Top
The battle for second and third place was remarkably close. 加藤純一うん〇ちゃん and zackrawrr both surpassed 17 million hours watched, finishing just behind Caedrel.

This narrow gap highlights how small differences in streaming frequency, session length, or scheduling can translate into millions of additional viewing hours at the highest level of Twitch. It also shows that dominance on the platform is rarely guaranteed, even for established names.
Consistency Beats Peak Viewers
One of the most interesting insights from the research is that massive average viewership does not automatically mean a top ranking. evelone2004, for example, recorded the highest average viewers among the top ten, yet finished ninth overall due to fewer total hours streamed.
Meanwhile, creators such as eliasn97, LVNDMARK, and jasontheween all exceeded 14 million hours watched. Their success was driven less by peak numbers and more by loyal communities returning day after day.

What This Says About Twitch in 2025
The data reinforces a key trend in modern streaming. Long term engagement, reliable schedules, and community loyalty often matter more than headline grabbing peak numbers. As Twitch continues to mature, the creators who win are those who keep audiences coming back consistently, sometimes night after night.
With competition tighter than ever, even established stars cannot afford to slow down.
Research Methodology
The study analysed Twitch livestream data from October 1 to December 19, 2025. Total watch time was calculated by aggregating all livestream hours for each creator during the period. Data was sourced from SullyGnome and compiled by Streamproject DE, with rankings based solely on total hours watched.
